don't make the mistake i made. don't go with spacers.
make sure that you get the right wheel for your car with right width and offset.

flush for your car 19" would be. 19x9.5 22et front, 19x10.5 22et for conservative set up..

19x9.5 12 et, 19x10.5 15 et with more aggressive.. or ppl just go apeshit crazy on offset.. like 19x10.5 -100000000000000 et front and 19x11 -1000000000000 et :P

but on more serious note. just get the correct size first. do it right the first time!

Get a Power Craft exhaust...it has a bypass valve so that you can enjoy both straight pipe sound and quieter sound(with muffler).

You realize there's no point on really posting on a thread when you don't have any useful information to share.

I would assume that its usually the job of someone of experience to help those that are newer and less experienced.

Kthxbye.

Uhh well the break down isn't too bad.

Body kit is about $1000 - $1200 (poly) from bausauto off of a Z forum.
the car is going to be wrapped by friends so say roughly $500 - 800?
Rims/tires... I think I may be sticking with 18's for now and save up for a good set of used te37's or just grab something when I go back to Japan sometime.
Coils.... I really want to save up for bilstein Pss9 heard some good things.
May get hotchkis lowering springs instead for the time being (found some nice used ones and heard good things about these too...)
Everyone at the Z forums seem to say that with a low car like a Z theirs no point in getting coils unless your planning on tracking the car. So I may be satisfied with just the lowering springs for now.
Install is all done through my friends shop so maybe like a 48 pack of beer haha.

I also scored a brand new 5zigen full cat back for 350z from a close out sale for dirt cheap.

Other small costs would be like possibly getting a fairladyz emblem or frequenting classified's, scrap shops for 06+ headlights and Tail lights

Lol yeah a friend showed be a vid by weds where they had a replica wheel and the authentic wheel and did like a strength test to it... replica's cracked or bent in multiple places... scary stuff haha

Your budget can be a little off there.

The guys in here are really being very polite to you and as many of us have been through the whole modding stage in our life, my word to you in modding is, to never under estimate your modification plan/budget.

When your car gets roll into the body shop and things start getting put onto the car, you will soon find out that there are going to be little things you will have to spend here and there in order to get the car finished.

Here's my breakdown for you:

Body Kit: $1000-1200 (Assuming you are ordering in Canada and this is a "landed" price, if not you will have to then add tax, shipping and your own gas in there to accurately budget the plan)

Vinyl: $650 (Assuming you are going to use Di-noc which is the least you should get because anything less is not going to be worthwhile for you, you are going to need some very strong connection in order to get them at $500.)

Now here's the big part, the labour:

Body Kit installation: Min $1200 for a 5 pieces work with no paint, please don't tell me you are going to just wrap your bumper and parts without at least priming/smoothening the surface of those body parts.

Coilover installation: $450+

Alignment: $150

That is $3650 and you're still missing the rims/tires and coilover which together can run you 4.5k totally easily for some used quality set.

your final total with everything is going to be around 8k when finish.

Modding your car like that isn't for the faint of heart. In regards to under budgeting, we've all been there before; my advice to you, wanting something and optimistically budgeting your plan isn't the way to go.

Noted. Most likely everything will have to be put piece by piece over time.
The bilstein pss9 alone is about $2300.
I assume most of it is going to be diy. but thats under the assumption that the kit is going to fit perfectly but will be highly unlikely.

As for wheels, Idk exactly what I want to do quite yet but am leaning towards just getting oem. Either the rays track v1 or Rays G35 19 for now instead of cheaping out on replica's. I just want to clarify that its only temporary. (I heard some people just keep upgrading over time.) And instead of coils, thinking of used lowering springs.... temp as well...

I actually projected that by the end of everything, I would spend easily over 10k... lol.

Appreciate the help btw

I've been doing my best to hold back on this thread..

You want to spend $2300 on Bilstein pss9, but based on what I'm seeing you post, this is basically a street car. Buying a part inappropriate for the build, solely because it's the highest quality/most expensive/ballerest part is a great technique to burn a massive amount of money very quickly. If essentially all you're looking for is ride height adjustability then just buy the most basic set of Teins coilovers available for your platform, you won't notice any difference.

Don't waste money buying the same part three times, upgrading from lowering springs to coils just to get it done fast is foolish. First of all, the lowering springs will ride like utter shit on stock shocks. Second, you will be paying for an alignment, the installation, and the parts that inevitably seem to break during installation twice by doing things twice. Do lots of people slowly upgrade over time? Sure, and those are the people who spend $20k on mods to have a practically stock car. Spend money wisely, plan out your build in advance.

You WILL need to have the body kit fitted and mounted by a shop if you want it to look anywhere near decent, budget for it, because that will not be cheap.

And finally, please, that button that says multi next to quote, use it!
