is it illegal to operate GPS while driving then?

because i often use my phone as GPS... not sure if legal...

Handheld GPS's are illegal. Must be handsfree.

So phone GPS is a no-go.

Robbery in progress, no biggie all he has to do today is show up to court for a minor dispute, it's not that important :troll:

I was wondering will the police ticket you for...

Waiting at the red light. Let say someone at the passenger seat texting, and he/she shows you something on his/her cellphone. You are not using and not holding the cellphone. Both your hands are on the wheel.

So if I drive Mom's car, the Police can't seize and tow the car cuz its not under my name?

what does it matter who's phone it is? A PHONE is in your hand while you are driving. they just check whomever the phone belongs to.

well maybe you could set your phone on fire and stomp on it a few times before the cop grabs it...:lawl:

Constable Martel must get around a lot. He was spotted in Calgary, too. I was thinking along the lines of default name, but the guy looks the same as dude in Calgary. Perhaps standard "panhandler" ussue uniform, LOLOLOLOLOL.

You'd think they'd dress up more like real homeless. Putting a hoodie over your head makes you a homeless dude or panhandler? I could spot that clone a mile away.

i think most ppl will glance quickly at them and then look away as no one likes to make eye contact with them, including me lol so im pretty sure its hard for them to actually spot the clone

Restricted from using both hand-held and hands-free cellphones and portable electronic devices while driving or riding. The GLP hands-free restriction is lifted for riding if no valid class 7 or 7L licence is held.

Your built-in GPS system isn't a portable electronic.

That's weird what if I have a portable GPS system then? I dont' see any difference between the two.....

Gh0stRider 03-25-2012 08:24 PM

all entries on any gps unit should be done while not moving, so if your making adjustments on your portable gps then that should warrant a violation ticket.
