Amazing progress so far, I will definitely be following your project! I do have a question for you tho. What are the plans for the car? The reason I ask is because you mentioned your cage will be CACC GT legal but you also have a Hydro brake....

MindBomber 03-14-2012 01:06 AM

That's inspirational!

Do you mind if I ask what you do for a living?

It's rare to see work like this coming out of the best shops anywhere, and you're working out of a garage!

You guys are lucky that you are seeing it at the stage it's at right now, I have been following this build since Oct,2010 but he sure has been having some progress the last couple of months. It's going to be wicked seeing this car drifting around the track :D

Good eye, it will be a multi purpose car.

Track stuff, solo, auto-x and lapping days at the various tracks in the PNW
Street legal and mostly daily driver
Casual drift car

I didn't want to be limited, it may not be the best at any of them, but I will be able to have fun at all of them.

I have to give a HUGE thanks to the man that made it Run, go, and stop.

Bill at Independent Speed Shop in Langley. He wired the 1UZ, wired the whole car beautifully, plumbed all the brake lines, the hydraulic hand brake, and basically made everything work.

If not for Bill, this project would be WAY behind, and lacking a ton of motivation. The guy is definitely one of the best around. He makes it look easy.

Thanks Bill!
