can you please tell me where you bought it? i've been told this before but everywhere i've tried do not sell the 100% kind, and the non-pure stuff is like $9 for just a few mL, and i'm not sure how much should i be using since i am parked outdoors. from what i've read anything less than that is useless on mice.

just an update for those who may be sharing the same misfortune...

my engine bay is stuffed full of dryer sheets. i bought peppermint oil from pricesmart but it's not the pure stuff and added that to the sheets as well for what it's worth. i tried to spray ammonia around where i park on the street but i don't know how effective that is because i do not always get to park in the same spot.

regardless, it's been a month now and so far... so good? no stupid mice.

Not really engine bay rodent related, but rodent related.

My dad noticed two rat/mice one evening while throwing out the garbage. So he decided to set up a cage trap to lure them out, luckily after a few days, one rodent fell for the trap this evening. My dad said he'll kill it later after dinner, since it was stuck in the cage anyways. He boiled a pot of hot water and pour it over the cage to kill the rodent; however, the rodent must have been biting on the corner and banging its away through a corner of the cage and made enough room to slip out while my dad started pouring the hot water. What luck!!

The rodent might not come back again. What are some other ways to kill these rodents if another one gets caught *CROSS FINGERS and hoping*!? The last thing we want is an infestation of a rodent family buildup around the neighborhood.

Hi folks--I just landed a 1974 charger with an immaculate body also an engine bay plugged with a pack rat nest. I bought a 2 lb can of Folgers coffee grounds and some cat litter. Scatter the coffee grounds around under hood and inside the car, put the zeolite cat litter in trays inside the car. in the trunk and under hood. Smell disappeared in a couple months. It was bad.
