Okay so I searched online and it seems that the TouchWiz Launcher doesn't support scrolling wallpapers. Just use Apex launcher and it will work.

terkan 07-10-2012 08:36 AM

thx.. now i'm starting to hate the launcher ahaha

I use SwiftKey 3 keyboard, it is so much better than the samsung predictive crap. You can download the app for free to try for a month

Gmail on Android pushes by default. There's no way to change it.

PornMaster 07-11-2012 11:35 AM

Yea gmail is push everything else has like a 5 minute lag

bakasam 07-11-2012 12:34 PM

I'm trying to get Led notification to blink for 3rd party apps like whatsapp. Right now when you set the settings in whatsapp you get a constant ledinstead of blinking. Anyone know how to fix this? Bug?

Thx

Are you guys running screen protectors with your S3's? Any differences in terms of feel from one store to another (e.g. Aberdeen shops vs InvisibleShield at Richmond Centre)? I don't want it feeling rubbery/tacky.

If you don't want anything rubbery/tacky then stay away from wet apply screen protectors. Unfortunately since the glass is curved there's no way around it.

anybody know, is thr a way to switch from one app to another without going to home screen? i.e in blackberry if u hold down bb menu button for 2 sec. it has shortcuts to all your open apps.... i know holding down home button for a few sec would do it. any other way?

hold down the touch key for 3-5 seconds and a list pops up of all the apps you recently opened

edit: damn misread it :okay:

why do you need another way? Just hold down the home button, and all the open apps come up

Momax U. Pack Charger Pack ( Charge + X-LEVEL PDA Battery ) for Samsung Galaxy S3 I9300 - Momax - UPSAI9300XL

pre-order from ncix.

heard good things about momax from 3 friends who are using it as a spare battery. For the price, it isn't bad

edit: there are no reviews for the amazon link i supplied with the EZOpower spare battery. but for 10$ a spare battery. its not bad. There are reviews for other EZOpower battery out there and they seem to only hold up charge for 6-12 months.

just got my otterbox commuter.
really nice case if you're worried about dropping your phone.
only thing is the buttons are a bit stiff.
not a terrible thing because i found i accidentally pressed the lock button too often anyway.

shenmecar 07-13-2012 02:54 PM
