The Korean handset maker today denied rumors that the next Galaxy S phone would launch next March. Loosely translated, Samsung's Twitter post stated: "Please note that some media reported speculation that the Galaxy S3 subsequent models will be released in a simple rumor is not true. Fixed'm not doing anything, why spread these rumors?

Ah icic that's good to know, but at the same time if it were true, I'd deny it too if I were samsung in order to minimize damages to s3 sales!

Finally switching over from iPhone?

yeah, Iphone5 is pretty much the same things that were already out but faster. Wind's $29 plan is really making the S3 that much more tempting~

Not sure, but it's bound to come out really soon.. It's really the optimizing the LTE + Quad core so that the battery life doesnt suck :p

They already have it in Korea. Not too sure why Its not released here

My buddy ordered a 0.3mm thin case from ebay. He showed me and all I can say is, it's freaking thin. You barely notice that it's there.

I ordered the 0.6mm and the 0.3mm to see if there is a big difference.

Is it just to protect the back from scratches? Doesn't seem like such a thin case would protect from drops.

I have a plastic/rubber bumper I use daily that lets me put the phone on its face/back without touching the table surface and also would seem to protect the edges, but because its just a bumper it still keeps the thinness of the phone.

check it out on ebay. it protects all the corners, and by my judgement, it will prevent dents from drops at approximately 1 meter or less. only part that doesn't protect is along the bottom part of the phone. it snaps on all 4 corners and 2 sides and top are protected.

it doesn't add that bulkiness and bezel look to the phone.

is the S3 still worth it for me to buy now? Or should i wait for an S4, or whatever the next samsung is?

I purchased a unlock code when I got my s3 last month, the code itself never worked meaning it kept giving me an error but my Fido sim worked even though the phone was locked to Rogers. So yesterday I was planning to sell my phone to a friend of mine (have another S3 from work) and he asked if my phone was unlocked, I assume it is because I'm using my Fido sim and I tried a Rogers sim and it worked but is there anyway I can know 100% if it's unlocked?

stick a bell/telus sim in the phone and see if it works, if it doesnt ur phones not unlocked.

and i believe phones locked to rogers or fido can use sims from either company and vise versa

What's the website that will refund the unlock fee if you record a Youtube video? The quickunlock is only 50% refund.
