Lightflow is popular for LED control, but it KILLED my battery (my coworker encountered the same thing with his Bell phone)

Any news when the titanium grey s3 will release?

EndLeSS8 11-06-2012 10:17 AM

What is a good simple notepad app, where you actually draw what you want to write down on a piece of paper on-screen, NOT TYPE

Thanks in advance.

It was on sale just last month during Google's celebration for 25 cents. Dont think it will be on sale again so soon.

I bought it for full price a month before the sale. Fuuuuuuuuu

Hey guys,

I've installed onavo to keep count of my data since I only have 1gb data. Every day I seem to use ~15-20mb of data on "platform apps" (with an android logo on it). What is this exactly?...is it syncing of gmail or something?

mb_ 11-06-2012 06:48 PM

Delete that app, there's a built in data tracker

S Memo comes pre-loaded with your S3. That's simple, and allows typing/writing on screen.

Irritating flickers on screen sometimes. Do you guys notice it?

J-force 11-06-2012 10:16 PM

Ios6 has the tab, ios5 had it in the updates tab. Unless touches are different

My battery life has almost doubled since I've switched to a new Jelly Bean ROM. So pleased with the results. I used to get about 7hours use before too...Now I'm rocking at least 14-16 hrs a day.

MadMax 11-07-2012 07:49 PM

/\ And this Jelly Bean ROM would be which exactly? Do share, please.

Yea, i notice this too before, but it was something to do with the rom. If you're using a custom rom, that could be the culprit.

parm104 11-07-2012 09:20 PM

Jelly Bean Rom (FrostyJB):

[ROM][LI6&LI7]~FrostyJB_4.1.1-v7~[11.6.2012] - xda-developers

Please look into the threads to make sure it's compatible with your phone. I'm on T-Mobile and this one worked for me. Make sure it's compatible with Rogers/AT&T if that's what you're on.

Current Battery Status - 49%
Current Battery Uptime - 11 hours

^v7 gave me more blue screen flickering :( sick rom otherwise

Vansterdam 11-09-2012 08:34 AM

any recommendations for spare/extra batterys?

been looking at these

13$ for a OEM spare battery
http://www.ebay.ca/itm/SAMSUNG-GALAX...#ht_3437wt_734

+3$ for a external battery charger that also charges your phone at the same time
http://www.ebay.ca/itm/USB-Battery-C...ht_3811wt_1174

i heard the oem charger dock cradle thing sucks since you can only charge one battery at time by taking it out of the phone

BigTrollFace 11-09-2012 11:04 AM

its stupid makes the phone gigantic. Youtube some videos.

I havent had an issue with running out of battery on the go. But when that day comes jelly bean will be out or I will just buy a spare.

I'm still on v6 and I have blue flickering but it only happens maybe once a week. I thought v7 was supposed to eliminate that problem all together...

What are you using now?

I LOVE LOVE LOVE GoogleNOW. It's absolutely amazing! It's already figured out what sports I watch and what teams I like and sends me cards with updates automatically.
