DO NOT, NOT, NOT, NOT!!!! Give anyone there your phone...Lately, local shops have been known to swap out parts from the phone and replace them with shitty aftermarket shit. It's been happening far too often to take a chance.

Plus, you're better off making sure your phone is unlocked here before you go there and take a chance on finding someone who can unlock it. Do as much as you can at home to prep. for your trip ie: voltage adapters, unlocking, etc.

I removed the latest update for those Rogers Apps and those notifications don't appear for me anymore. It only asks for me to update those apps, so I just have to swipe them away every morning.

Anyone having copy/paste crash issues? Doesn't matter what app is open. Once I copy any text I want the app locks up then crashes.

Our chargers are rated for input voltages of 100-240VAC if I recall (it will be printed on the side of your charger), so it is not necessary to buy a travel voltage transformer. If anything just buy a plug converter if the country you are going to uses a different two-pronged plug.

I have yet to find a store that has this. your best bet is to order it online and take advantage of their free shipping. just gotta wait for it is all.......

if you go metro go to wireless wave, look for mark he will hook you up

Having Google Now on my phone is so awesome.

It was able to tell me which flights I had coming up, what time they were, the status of the flight, which terminal/gate, airline etc...

Such a huge help especially when you're away on vacation and all you have is intermittent data from picking up free wifi.

last i checked oakridge mall has the fido lte micro sim cards

What ROM and kernel are you guys using?

I'm currently using Paranoid Android and ktoonz kernel.

Trying to figure out the best settings for my phone.. currently using ktoonservative governor and noop scheduler with 486/1300 clocks.

Using Slim Beans 3.0 and Ktoonz Kernel. Been wanting to try out that Liquid rom but have been lazy.

Noop sucks for my phone for some reason so I just kept it at deadline made some adjustments to it. I have my phone at 96mhz minimum and 1350mhz max. Screen off at 486mhz and undervolted maybe about 20~25mhz for all speeds.

I've been getting about 12~14 hours of batt with 2.5~3.5 hours of screen time.

Have LTE turned off.
Use phone mainly for texting/whatsapp/browsing/google reader/social media

for some reason today i wasnt able to make outbound/recieve calls...
i've been using the phone fine since saturday and last got an inbound call around 7PM

noticed i couldnt make/recieve any calls around midnight.

i can browse/text/whats app.. everything just fine and i can make calls again but calls coming in dont connect and voicemail doesnt prompt either

im using a rogers s3 on fido network and i have an old fido sim from, like 5 yrs ago that was cut.

anyone else here use the go launcher app + lock screen thing?

i just started using it and theres alot of diff things you can do to it

stupid how i have to download other apps to get coins to get more themes though
