Can someone recommend an LED app? I find the LED on the s3 blinks way too slow when I have unread messages.

On my old 9700, I had an LED app that would blink nonstop till I turned on the phone like this:

I picked up the S3 yesterday and oh man I'm loving everything about it so far.

switched from slimbean to aokp

slim looked alot prettier but its been about 8 hours and im still 85 percent with aokp lol

Any idea how I can get notifications on my icons? Idk how it all works. Running on CM10 and JB 4.1.2 I sell phones so I see on stock S3 interface it looks like 4.1 has the notification icons like (1) beside it to show how many notifications there are.

I am seriously noob at this and probably need to find a buddy thats good with android modifications to show me in person how everything works

I use TeslaUnread which shows me notifications on my icons but you need either Nova Launcher Prime or WidgetLocker to make this app work.

yup, i had to do alot of tweaking though and had to search through the thread to get alot of stuff answered

I think it's best if you download and start fresh since it's a different version

just tried the ota for aokp, phone shat bricks now it wont work LOL

s3 boots to samsung logo then dies out, cant get into recovery mode. Any ideas?

I've never done this shit before so I don't know the process LOL

So I just make a Nandroid backup
, flash new ROM then restore?

Edit: nvm just wiped everything, backed up and restored with titanumbackup

Do you guys buy your apps or majority of you root your phones? :fullofwin:

did anyone who rooted and afterwards loaded the stock samsung rom, lose functionality with their stop watch and timer?
they still work but no longer display their count on the notification bar when running in the background.

Anyone experiencing black lines on their screen?

I have a permanent black line running across the top of my screen, could it be dead pixel?

How is rogers when it comes to warranty work? My phone is less than 6 months old and is unlocked or rooted.

Once in a blue moon my screen flickers if i type a long message.

Haven't experience any permanent black lines though.

Just tried on my stock rogers s3 and it doesn't show either

Is it a pure black line or does it seem like some of the pixels are just darker than the rest?

I root and buy apps. I don't normally buy 10 dollar apps, usually dollar apps keep me busy and sync with all my devices. Its the simplicity and convenience that make it an incentive to buy apps. As well as supporting the developer :badpokerface:

you don't have to root to get pirate apps. But I usually buy the few dollar ones or get them during a sale.
