I got a T999, just used the unified S3 toolkit to root and install cwm on my S3. This toolkit is AWESOME btw, highly recommend.

Anyways, are all TMobile roms compatible with my Wind Mobile T999?

G-spec 01-18-2013 01:46 PM

I'm unable to set any wallpapers to scrollable neither from the phone settings or using the PicSpeed Wallpapers app where you also have an option to make them scrollable, can you guys tell me what I'm doing wrong ?

This works fine either way on my Nexus S but not on this SIII

When I tether my laptop to my phone, the speed sucks.

But when I tether my ipad to my phone, i am getting LTE speed.

Any idea?

there are roms out there that implemented scrollable wallpaper on touchwiz. but it involves rooting and flashing the new rom. for example, "frozen syrup" for t999 has it and works flawlessly. im using it.

Anybody seen locally or online in Canada wireless charging kits for S3?

Expresso 01-22-2013 09:03 AM

Not local, but this one has caught my eye. Might actually buy one.

I thought I saw a pad or something that fits in the back oem cover? I need to start digging again.

Why can't I copy and save a photo from a facebook page onto my S3?

Also, Is there anyway to have a shortcut on the screen for tethering? Since the jellybean update, they didnt give us any option to put such shortcut anymore.

Or palm swipe

In settings, application manager, downloaded tab, do you see the "cracked app"? Can you tap it and hit uninstall?

After rooting my phone, I realized that my Google maps doesn't say the street names any more :okay:

Is there a fix for this?

What do you mean? There is no text for the street names in the Maps itself or Navigation doesnt audibly speak the street names?

gars 01-26-2013 09:20 PM

The navigation doesn't audibly speak the street names.

Before it would say for example "turn left onto no 3 road"

But now it just says "turn left"

You can try to uninstall google maps and reinstall it? you'll probably need something like TB to uninstall it though.
