updated to 4.3

anyone know why I automatically and randomly download apps to games?

Seems like it always happens when I come home and the phone is connected to my home wifi.

not a big fan of 4.3 dont like the text pop up now

Seems like 4.3 messed up swift key for my sister, no haptic and second row keys don't work. Weird.

Anyone know if there will be an update soon to fix all these issues?

I tried using Astro and ES File Explorer, but they're complicated as hell, and I can't even find the directories properly

updated yesterday and now my phone keeps self resetting.... any idea what the issue is?

Updated almost a week ago. Looks good, settings is laid out logically and simpler, but the camera app won't keep my shortcut settings, the music app is butchered to hell and my "recently added" playlist was scrambled.

The camera problem isn't that big of a deal, but for the music app I just use doubletwist. I really miss the equalizer on the music app.

anyone else update their firmware and now their phone keep resetting?

uuuuuuuuugh, i dont like this new update!

deleted all my play lists...i cant get my ring tone back...and i cant get my flash light to stop blinking every time i get a call!

the setting set up is all fucky now.

Found out the hard way that the update reset all of my alarm ring tones. So instead of annoying stock music guaranteed to wake me up in the morning, it started doing a single BBM click sound, which wouldn't wake up a mouse. Oh, and it also blinks the flash light... which I do not want, and, of course, there's no option to deactivate it.

ugh!! i cant get rid of that light?? thats uber annoying....

Go to accessibility settings then check on the flash notification then check it off. Should fix.

Nope. Mine was already set to off, but I tried turning it on/off anyway to see if that would fix it. No go.

Edit: Tried it again and now it seems to have been fixed. Thanks :fullofwin:

Has anyone had problems with their home button becoming mushy when pressing on it? I got it fixed the first time from the warranty in october, now its become mushy again

So far, the update seems to make my S3 run smoother. I just have to turn off that bloody Tag Buddy on my camera pics.

how do i turn my autocorrect off? when i updated it fucked everything up...it is force correcting the stupidest shit.

i think i will have to root/custom rom,, since update
when i get calls, it shows up with number only, then a few rings later ,name shows up. and in general things are slow.

i find mine is pretty slow as well.

i am also having a problem answering calls...phone rings, i answer, the line is dead...the caller can hear me, but i can't hear the caller. caller always needs to phone back. it is getting annoying.

Yeap. I have that exact problem. Pretty annoying after this stupid update!

To make and receive calls, I have used DW Dialer for years with no issues - works even smoother after the update

my s3 has been shutting off by itself... maybe 3x/wk? i hope i don't have the sudden death syndrome....it's on 4.3 right now.....argh.....

that's me everyday... I phoned Samsung and they will not warranty it even though my phone messed up after the update. my phone resets around 40 times a day.. been 5 weeks now...

I also noticed my lock button is very sensitive, if I slide my finger over it then itll turn on.

^i guess all we can do is wait for 4.4 update...i heard it might be april.... :S

so your phone just restarts or? i press the home button to check my phone but nothing happens and the lock button doesn't do anything so i have to take out the battery and back, then i can turn it on...argh...hopefully mine won't get as bad as yours...
