So... not knowing anything about the story, actors, or chinese cinema in general, and viewing the trailer from an absolute fresh and blank perspective... all I can gather it's going to be a 2hr emo fest?

At least, that's pretty much the best I can gather what with the 90% of the trailer just being a musical montage of a guy wandering around depressed/or a series of depressing situations.
