Anyone use old fat xbox hdd in slim xbox?

Hey guys,

My old xbox kind of packed it in. I got a new Slim 4GB. I saw online that you can remove the actual HDD from the casing and plug it in.

So I've googled and MS has said it's against their Terms of Use to do that and it is bannable.

So my real question is, has anyone on RS done it? If so, has anyone or anyone you known been banned for using the MS fat drives (not aftermarket) with the new slims? How long have you been using it for on the slim console?

I spent some time reading the forums, everyone says MS will ban you. But I haven't actually heard/read/seen anyone actually get banned for that reason.

Thanks guys

i think their just bsing you so you could go buy their expensive 40+$ data transfer wire to transfer all ur data from one HD to another + suckering you to buy a new HD just for ur slim

friends have been doing it since the new xbox came out without any problems.
