lol. its not tin foil.
i need this coz my hood gets hot and when it's rains it will start to steam.

Did u mean dynamat? More for audio setups though. Any audio shops has them, even best buy.

Otherwise if specific heat shield then:

What's the cause of the excess heat? Stock little motor with stock paint on the hood isn't going to have issues. So what have you changed?

Btw my old Prelude hood steams in the rain, never been an issue

It will melt off, cause a huge gooey mess. It is meant for sound proofing, not heat proofing.

I'm pretty sure every car hood steams in the rain after a short drive. Mine does. Mine even has the heat shield from factory.

DEI makes them but I don't think they sell specific kits for specific cars. They're quite pricey though.
