B series starters

I can't find any definate answers on the internet. Every search seems to land on a pron site so I will ask here.

The starter on my 01 ITR is toast. It works when it feels like it, but 99% of the time the car will not even turn over. Before I start looking for a replacement starter, I just want to make sure I know what I am looking for.

Will a starter from another B series motor work on the B18C5?

I've also seen some post that claim the starter on an auto B motor is different from a manual B motor.

Looking online, I see the part numbers are different on the ITR's Denso starter vs a regular auto integra starter.

TIA

The auto could be different but all the manuals are the same.

The auto ones are longer and will be tough to fit. It DOES fit but it's a pain in the ass to work around.

Berz out.

Hit up lordco and grab one there, a reconditioned BOSCH is pretty decent price and comes with a 5 year warranty or if you get the new one you get life time warranty, and the manual one is different as well compared to an Auto. A trick to get your car to turn over is have some one tap the starter with a stick or whatever that can reach there while you turn the car over....works everytime when I had a issue with my Teg.

Good Luck
