So? Auto chat has also become about helping out some guy who picked up a brand new STI with scratches, dings, and swirls who got continually fucked by a certain Subaru dealership in Richmond, spreading the word, lobbying Subaru Canada and the media outlets, arranging to meet up for a protest. This forum is moving towards us coming together and having each other's backs, fighting for what's right as a community.

I'd take a couple of those threads over a page of ugly body kits any day.

Besides, how would you know. You've only been here since 2008.

Gridlock has it right. Draw up your own contract with agreeable terms for both parties. Get that ish to a Notary Public and get it sealed. Now you're legal.

Cool to see this kinda stuff on RS. Members helping members is what it's all about y0!

maybe becuz i was on another account since 2004

and first account in 2001

THought mods were extremely strict about posting the right topic in the right section. People used to get in shit when they post irrelevant bullshit. Not how another member sucks another member's dick

I've been on RS before it was even named Revscene (vancouverimports.com) and have found this board to have gotten better over time. It's a different feel, but RS went from a few thousand members to like tens of thousands.

I don't really find mods power trip too much on here, overall rules on here are fair. So whats with this attitude towards RS. If your ego is too fragile to handle opinions other then your own, you're not cut out for any forums

I don't post as much either anymore but that happens when we get older and have more responsibilities. Not because of RS or it's members.

People's online ego's....:rukidding:

Sure this would probably be better suited in the off topic but how about you quit bitching about this thread and just don't post in it or read it.

Props to you Culverin; it is so nice seeing the mentality of rs members helping one another out when possible :)

Ps shameless plug for rs meets in the unofficial meets and vls chat forums ;)

Potential Issues

1. Insurance requirement - in case there is a crash, the owner of the bike should not be responsible for chasing down repairs etc.

2. What are the borrower's rights if they want to rescind/back out of the deal, do they get all their money back, some of it back? Will the issue of depreciation come up?

3. Note the condition of the bike, have a form and pictures to confirm that if you do get it back, it comes back in the same condition.

4. Payment terms. You say you don't care when he pays you back, well soon-ish is too broad. Set a deadline, even if it is far away (i.e., by April 2013). Remember time flies, and debts are forgotten.

He's buying it off him, not renting/borrowing it. He understands that if he crashes it or takes a shit on the seat or whatever, its his fault and will continue to pay off Culverin lol.
