I won't let you use a helmet if I know it's date stamped older than 2000. It's more of an insurance stipulation than anything. We have stinky loaners if you need a helmet. |

Quick! Need a good place to buy an inexpensive Snell-approved helmet tomorrow! I have a feeling that the loaner helmets won't come in my size since I have a big head.
Closer to Surrey the better thanks!

Go to any motorcycle shop and TRY on the helmets first.
Not every person's head is the same and different brands fit differently. I can squeeze into a small or med Arai but a large Shark, Shoei and Sumoy will give me a headache.
HJC is a decent brand.
Open faced helmets are usually a tad cheaper.

Would anyone like to pre-meet somewhere on the way and cruise in together?

I'll be heading down from SFU. Merging onto Hwy from Gallardi (sp?) then Mary Hill Bypass and out to PM.
Most likely, I'll stop at the McD's on Lougheed and Harris rd for some breakfast of champions and be at the front gates at 7:30 when they open.

Hurt, I went to the Porsche autox today and was super fun. Thanks Rich!
Went to sign up for VCMC tomorrow, only to find out registration is closed.. I thought it was closed at 9.
I asked to see if they are still accepting.. Hoping for the best.

I think I got confused with registration. I signed up for membership, but NOT the event signup on Karelo itself. Am I screwed?

Yeah surprised the corolla did that well. I did remember seeing a 49 on the time board but didnt think it was mine but i did remember hitting the cone.. Last 3 runs I tried to push it too hard and just failed.. All in all it went better than expected..

I might as well for a left turn, hit the inside cone with the right side of my bumper, cut the corner and get 2 seconds penalty but gain more.
I'm not getting all butt hurt but that's just what's going on in my head right now lol. If you really did 49.xxx, I'm not gonna do anything else but congratulate you
Btw +1 on not knowing you were on RS lol

Btw +1 on not knowing you were on RS lol | Yeah no offense but a novice driver in an automatic corolla on run flats is not going to run a time that keeps up with some of these more experienced drivers with significantly faster cars.

Good job guys.
Just remember, NCT is based on your best 4 our of 6 results and things tend to even out at the end of the season.
