Did you guys get any free swag? Just curious, as I,know these things don't give as much as they used to.

I know the owner, and yes they did ask to borrow it.

Print this out to get 50% off adult admission. 1 coupon per person. It's supposedly "Chinese day" but I'm not sure if you have to be Chinese to use it. This coupon is applicable for Sunday April 8th only though. I'm not being racist or anything, just sharing the coupon lol

I can't remember if it was last year or the year before, but when I went on the final Sunday (incidentally, it was another "Fairchild Chinese Day" with @ 1/2 price), the place was packed with Chinese folks as expected. Another thing I noticed was a lot of manufacturers have already ran out of brochures and SWAG.

Just something to keep in mind.

Woo hoo! -picked up my free autoshow ticket at the Jim Pattison Scion dealership downtown on Hornby and Drake. :fullofwin:

Going on Sunday, the crowd is gonna suck because of that chinese coupon thing.

In terms of crowds, Sundays arent bad (when I was young, my dad took me there on Sundays). However most of the booth staff are gone, and so will most of the swag.

I'm disappointed they locked the FR-S and BRZ :(
Really wanted to sit in them to see how bad the blindspots are before I plunk down money for a pre-order.

Wat. I want free tix, broke as fuck atm.

Don't see why they couldn't as they appeared to basically be production models and weren't exactly attracting huge crowds of people. Oh well..i'm sure they had their reasons.



As far as free swag goes, Scion has Yo-yo's...that's all you need to know.

They were probably trying to prevent vandalism from the V6 Mustang fanboys.


Also, just picked up my ticket from JP on Burrard!

Gonna head down on saturday, hope theres still some free shit left for me.

lolololol I had class and wasnt free until now to get it. Not sure when I'm going, possibly Thurs or Fri.

I went today with a couple of friends. To make the 15 dollar ticket worth it, we looked everywhere for free stuff, lol. A lot of things are completely gone, I looked for the so called "Scion Yoyos", none left... You might get some posters, and tote bags though @_@. All in all, I actually prefered last years show. Still worth checking out. I'll be putting a video together, incase anyone who doesn't attend wants to see what he/she missed or didn't miss out on, lol.

Got in for $10, perks for having my wallet molested by UBC :toot:

The Chrystler section was giving out free chamois! Got a free NSX poster from Acura, bag from Mitsubishi, signed up for a few contests to win either a gas card or cars. Not much, but at least there were some interesting cars to see; friend of mine's almost dead set on selling his Lancer for an Abarth after seeing it haha.
