Tire shop

Anyone ever buy tires from South Canada Auto Racing at 1691 East Hastings?

Just did some pricing on tires and they gave me pretty good pricing on tires for my MDX.

255/55/18's

Bridgestone Dueller Alenza

Costco: $319 each

South Canada: $190 each

Pirrelli Scorpions: $210 each

A bridgestone dueller alenza is going to be the same tire no matter where you buy it from... So find the lowest price you can and buy it...

I used to buy tires from this guy years ago before I started buying online. His prices were pretty good back then. I'd just walk in and it seemed like he would give a quote based on the mood he was in that day. His wife was fairly nice. His kids used to hang out at the shop after school. He was kind of a dink though. I bought tires there for a few years and always had them swap my winters and summers. Nothing wrong with the place.

I use to go there a lot as well. I was actually there on tuesday to get a valve stem replaced and man he was rude. His wife was really nice but yeah I don't think I will go back there again.

David gives pretty good pricing. Used to get all my tires from him. If you do not mind a few scratches on the wheels, then let them change the tires. If you have expensive rims, would echo "alex.w" to go somewhere else!

Anything but avoid OK Tire on W3rd under the Granville bridge, poor workmanship, attitude and they use every possible way to scare you from buying tires in the US. Other OK Tires are better.

Way back in the mid to late 90's, before the explosion of online retailers, I used to buy from those guys as they had really great prices. The wife who used to work there would offer even better prices if you paid cash.
