Apparently it was due to a broken engine mount. They ended up replacing both engine mounts and so far the car has not exhibited the raspy, stuttering revving behavior again.
What hasn't Killed me, has made me more tolerant of RS!

Wow I would have never ever guessed that...I'm glad I somehow randomly stayed away from The BMW Store despite living downtown for the past 4 years. Enjoy it now man!
Haha yeah, even after attempting to speak with BMW Store through an intermediary who works there, I have not heard a thing. Perhaps its a one off experience, but I know I'd recommend to all of my friends looking to purchase a vehicle to avoid BMW Store at all costs, especially seeing how their lot boys treat vehicles. Thanks again everyone for the input and suggestions.
