Don't get a RSX-S
I have one. Although I get 400-500km/50L tank, it's also on premium fuel. Insurance is a lot because it's a "sports car"
imo, you should get an impreza, or the old wrx. I'm not too sure about fuel or insurance for that, but you'll probably enjoy that more.
who are you planning to spend the rest of your life with? your sister or girlfriend?

But Geely is no Tata/VW/BMW. I've personally dealt with Geely on supplier level while working in China. These guys do cost-cutting above everything else. When budget is cut on the assembly line, it won't matter where it is assembled. What this means to the OP is bad resale value, questionable oe parts and brand image. That's my 2cent given my experience with Geely management.
PS. Geely is the company that made the Royce knock-off a while back.

+1 for the c30!
I agree with you that cost cutting affects any car no matter where it is assembled; but for a $16,000 c30, it won't be newer than 2009. Even if Geely does cost cut, this is before they bought Volvo. I would like to think that Geely has invested in Volvo, they woudln't jepordize such a big investment...even if they did buy Volvo just to gain intel on making a car that wouldn't fall apart from a minor fender bender.

+1 for Volvo c30. Been looking for an ice
White 2012 r design for a while. You are better buying it from the states. I can't justify buying one up here since the mark up is so much more.
