Use 80 grit. :troll:

I believe you start with 1200 and finish with a 2000-3000.

added a damn arm rest/armrest center console. Usually people do the opposite because it gets in the way but i couldn't stand driving with my right arm dangling everywhere. armrest delete does look cleaner though

before (not my pic cuz i forgot to take one before i installed lol)

Got home, got pissed off. Fixed the coilovers. The helper springs were incorrectly set, and the ride height was all over the place.
Lowered it.

Also did the brakes on the beater.
Full Disc, drum, pad, shoe and drum cylinder. Front discs took me all of 30 minutes. Rears took me 6 hours. I hate drums, so much. + 1 hour of loosening overtorqued lug nuts, and hammering the wheels off the hub. Thank you Canadian Tire.

fliptuner 06-14-2013 08:12 AM

What's he beater?

lol drums are fun. Hopefully the wheel cylinders were dry.

!SG 06-14-2013 09:46 AM

suppose to be 1500, then 2000, then 3000 or polish

i didnt want to fuck it up, so started with 2000, then polish, then polymer, then wax, then high gloss, then seal.

93 Ho'Rolla
Mom drives it because it's "good" on gas. It's not. It gets the same mileage as the MR2, and I hit boost all day. Both cars get 10L/100km, 40L tank, 87/94. I've done everything related to fuel economy on the Corolla too. It doesn't help that the car is slow as shit, and you need to stay on the throttle to keep the momentum.

She tells me she manages to get 400-ish a tank, and she doesn't drive slow. This is the same lady who street raced ricers in my SC400. Wish I could've seen it. 5'3 Chinese lady. Slammed, Black/Black, SSR Vienna's, Giant "I'M KILLING IT" sticker on the back. Flips you the bird as she rips it past you.

I miss that car.:alone:

Installed replacement ballasts and 4300k HID bulbs earlier today, previously one of the old ballasts stopped working so car was blind at night

Tempting to do this, I have new wheels coming later this week so I'll dip the old setup to protect the finish on them

Blaze yellow or blaze blue? Gotta make the wheels that are already on the car as obnoxious looking as possible :accepted:
