as vin diesel told me

"Granny $$$$$$$, not double-clutching like you should. You’re lucky that 100 shot of NOS didn’t blow the welds on the intake."

Mom drives it because it's "good" on gas. It's not. It gets the same mileage as the MR2, and I hit boost all day. Both cars get 10L/100km, 40L tank, 87/94. I've done everything related to fuel economy on the Corolla too. It doesn't help that the car is slow as shit, and you need to stay on the throttle to keep the momentum.

She tells me she manages to get 400-ish a tank, and she doesn't drive slow. This is the same lady who street raced ricers in my SC400. Wish I could've seen it. 5'3 Chinese lady. Slammed, Black/Black, SSR Vienna's, Giant "I'M KILLING IT" sticker on the back. Flips you the bird as she rips it past you.

I miss that car.:alone:

My old car was a '93 Corolla... Pink/Purple/Salmond colour (I don't know why ICBC calls it red). That thing has horrible mileage. 10km/L was the most I have been able to squeeze out of it.

dared3vil0 06-19-2013 06:34 PM

10l/100km is pretty damn good...

hk20000 06-19-2013 06:34 PM

Silver 850 AWD turbo. Mistaken the height of a curb between 2 parking lots and did a helluva scrape trying to short cut through the lot to bypass the very bad traffic in Richmond.

I scraped it. I scraped it a lot.

Couldn't stand the ugly ass chrome stripe that ran across the front bumper so I plastidipped it last night;

Helicoiled stripped exhaust stud hole, reinstalled the manifold/turbo/downpipe assembly, hooked up all the turbo lines and scratched the living hell out of my arms on the downpipe heat wrap. I hate fibreglass.

Ignoring the fact that your reflectors are now non-existant, why would you not mask right up to the reflector?

actually his masking job is done right, for plasti-dip you don't mask at the line you always leave room. Because once plasti-dip is dried and you take the mask off it could very well take it off from the reflector as well. That being said, it looks cool to have that black but it is fairly illegal

because you can peel off the edges after it dries?

Energy 06-21-2013 10:22 PM

Yeah, plastidip is peelable so the masking doesn't have to be perfect. It's illegal now but that's a common mod on bimmers. It might look better if you used the glossifier?
