Fair enough. I'm just used to people using Nightshade to tint/blackout their lights, not Plastidip.

Glossifier is too thin by itself it would be like spraying water - it's not meant for a surface that's not already dipped

Better alternative would've been to use PlastiDip Smoke and build it up in layers to darken it. If it's not dark enough after you can use VHT nightshades if you want the blacked out look (if you do this then it's peelable still! :fullofwin:)

Still illegal since you can't have anything covering reflectors iirc, but nevertheless there's always this option

I had my reflectors covered but I used vinyl because I got vinyl that matched my paint (metallic black).

That looks a looot better, have you ever thought about painting or plastidipping the rear diffuser bit to match the front? :)

Matties 06-22-2013 03:22 PM

Started with an oil change, checked the plugs and gap, proceeded to do a once over under the car to ensure there are still no leaks. Re and Re rear brakes due to recent noise, found small rock fragment worked into the pads. Removed and roughed up pads and rotors. Finished off with a nice bath and polish.

Installed an evoms intake. Yeah my engine bay is dirty as fuck. Since I tore my belly pan and lower fender liners off, you can imagine how messy it gets quickly. I'll give it a clean soon. I'd say after a quick drive in traffic the intake put my car from about 250bhp to about 680whp. If the internet has taught me anything, its that intakes can double hp easily.

The plaque on the intake makes up for your lack of stickers. I bet that mofo's worth a good 80 butt hp right there.

westopher 06-22-2013 04:32 PM

My butt dyno did feel like there was a difference, in throttle response at least, but it sure made the car sound much more turboey. Placebos are fairly effective on me so who knows.

fliptuner 06-22-2013 04:57 PM

In that case, I can do the snake-oil mod for you. Buddyguy price $800.

Paying someone to wash your car isn't the point of this thread

Dear god what the hell has that bright red interior on the right?

Energy 06-22-2013 11:23 PM

X5 or X6. Looks like an X6 because of the roof and rear window.
