I have an eastwood. My miata had under an inch of ground clearance and yet it fit just fine. Are you sure you know how to use it correctly?

The newer Eastwood's have a second set of holes the move the roller arm down about 3". If yours is the one pictured, you can try unbolting your lower strut mount (depending how the suspension is setup) and placing a jack under the LCA to keep it from drooping.

edit: notice this one has 3 different mounting positions (one hole is hidden behind the ring)

After leaving the CEL on for over a year finally decided to assess.

Pulled the charcoal canister and snapped all 3 bolts. Had to drill them out.
Charcoal canister is good.
Tested and determined the purge valve is stuck and needs to be replaced.

Also inflated the spare tire. 17 PSI to 33 PSI

I'd love to find out I'm trying to use it wrong but I've got everything as short as it can go and it won't fit.

I ended up undoing the hub from the strut (mac strut setup) and using a jack underneath to keep it semi in place, but I still had to push the hub down the get it low enough for the roller to fit.

I couldn't get a lot of pressure against the fender as the loose hub is able to pivot back against the strut, and because of the design of the fenders & how everything was fitting I could only get the roller where it was perpendicular to the lip (ie trying to crush it).

I ended up saying fuckit and grabbing a hammer, that managed to curve the lip up a bit and then I was able to smooth it out with the roller, but I still can't get enough of the lip out of the way to be comfortable with the clearance. At least now the fender will rub the tire instead of trying to cut into it.

Note: I'm not terribly concerned about these fenders as they need to be cut out and replaced in a few years anyways.

Hmmmm... kind of out ideas. On my RX7, fully drooped, from the center of the hub to the bottom of the lip was 13-14" apart and I was still able to (barely) get the roller to hit.

If you're sure you have all your roller adjustments bottomed out, I guess you're left with hammer and dolly or rolling it oldschool.

Broke the Pitman drop arm. Need to source a drop arm tomorrow and replace the power steering gear. Small job, just will be a pain finding a proper size pitman arm.

It snapped in a parking lot, could have been a lot worse and possibly fatal if it broke while driving!

Starting next week i'll be taking a new job that requires me to commute a lot more. I figured I need to get my DD ready during my last days at my current shop...

-Oil & Filter Change
-Manual Trans Fluid
-Coolant Flush
-Engine drive belt
-Inspect, clean, and re-lubricate all brakes
-Balance all 4 wheels/tires
-Sprayed the underbody with fluid film
-Fix sunroof (it was basically just jammed)

From the bmw store on burrard. It was $93 bucks and from ordering to in my car within 16 hours. Cheapest I could find online was like $75 + shipping + duty from the states so this is like the one time I think the dealer was actually a deal. They have 6 speed pattern as well if you are interested. So much nicer than the stock one most bmws come with.

Did some more work on the dd integra:

- Changed the rear motor mount..... This thing was a pain in the ass!
- Installed megan header, 68mm throttle body and intake with a stack. Not much power increase but the throttle response is soooo much better

Removed my small mud guards front and back, cleans up the lines quite a bit and really lets you see those 10.5 wide rims with 295 tire nicely when you are directly behind me.

Also Detailed my car, exterior only interior is still clean, but I will do it as well tomorrow.

Full wash and clay bar (minus roof, ill do this tomorrow), waxed the all the panels once.

I need to snag some polish to do a couple of spots, then I will apply one more coat of wax, and one coat of this paint protection stuff I was recommended.

Took me forever, about 2.5 hours, working diligently and methodically. Took a bit longer due to my bum hand, but the results are great. Smooth as silk and shiny as all hell.

Pictures tomorrow hopefully.

First time I ever did major surgery on the car.

Woke up this morning and my car didn't start at all, my normal tricks for forcing it to start didn't work as well (I've been having issues for a while). I had already changed the battery on the car and the only other thing it could be was the starter, did some research and it's a common problem amongst TSX in my mileage range.

Changed the starter, upgraded to aftermarket BOSCH one because apparently the OEM ones are garbage + more expensive.

Had to remove the intake manifold, Air intake to get to the starter. Only took me 2.5 hours, the recommended time for install was 4 hours and I took my time as well. Saved myself at least 500 + Towing

Turns out the pitman arm from Fabtech was recalled and i just found this out. SO i will be mailing it to them for a replacement, But i was quoted a three week wait.

Talked to randy at Steering Solutions and he said in general these drop pitman arms for lift kits are junk and break constantly.

So i bought a BDS pitman arm from north shore offroad for 60 bucks which also has a lifetime warranty so once i get my other one i will have a spare in case this shit happens again!

Wow, quality brand too. That's some scary shit, breaking a main steering component like that. I ran a raised steering arm and dropped pitman as well.

Good luck with the BDS.

If it helps put your mind at ease, I ran all BDS with my last lift, and had zero issues whatsoever. Hopefully you have the same luck.

Love the guys at North Shore Off Road. Always been super helpful, with decent prices.

Ya when i thought about it i was REALLY happy it happened pulling out of a parking stall and not mid corner while driving.

I am running a BD steering stabilizer now so that is supposed to help hold the front end together a bit tighter. What a difference though today driving the truck with the new steering gear box and stabilizer.
