Old beside new. *driver side light was not screwed in yet so it isn't aligned. http://i99.photobucket.com/albums/l3...ps247820e0.jpg
First impressions:
The cutoff on them is awesome. I just need to align it a tad higher. Also, I didn't have highbeam bulbs around so I just have the lows and the projector highbeams instead of all 4 highs. The front end looks so much more modern now.

westopher 09-05-2013 10:04 AM

Heres a photo of the cutoff since I aimed it this morning.

Had to get a new trunk latch for my 92 civic. Installed it tuesday and the open trunk light keeps coming on despite it being closed. Fiddled with it some more today. Oddly it went off when i fiddled with the wiring but then it came back on after closing it again. Wiring, what be wrong with thee!

For exhaust, I think you mean eisenmann

now, may I ask what type of bmw m car it is? because it is my understanding, the eisenmann exhaust will bolt to the stock set-up, but you are going to put a supersprint x pipe, that changes the setup on the rear, like you could not put supersprint x pipe and then stock rear, so I maybe totally in the wrong, but I do not think both pieces are compatible, not with out some serious cutting and re-working, again maybe just me being dumb.

knight604 09-05-2013 06:26 PM

And yes they are compatible .

jshen 09-05-2013 10:23 PM

Bought it for super cheap and put some elbow grease in.

Been throwing a P0141 CEL for a couple months now, so I finally got around to swapping the o2 sensor out. Don't think the previous mechanic working on the car used anti-seize compound because it was a fucking bitch to get out. Had to pull out the BFH after soaking the sensor in Tri-Flo for half an hour.

Also broke my cat heat shield. Now I gotta go buy a new one. :okay:

Old one on the left, new one on the right.

I decided i wasn't a fan of the black/DARK grey with chrome lip theme, decided to paint them a Metallic Titanium silver. Holy fuak they look great IMHO...

WAY better. Looks great.

meme405 09-08-2013 11:39 PM

Installed my Kinetix V+ Plenum yesterday, did the pedal dance and went for a drive.

Initial impressions, she pulls harder off the line, but difference towards top end is non-existant. Pretty much met my expectations of what was going to happen and what everyone explained to me. A long with my intake and exhaust, should help the engine breathe a lot better and tie together nicely once I get my revup tune...

What brand of paint did you use? Where to buy?

Judging from my super enhance zoom, that looks like a can of rustoleum.

dared3vil0 09-09-2013 12:16 AM

That's the Gloss clearcoat you see, It's Rustoleum 2x cover gloss clear. The actual paint is titanium silver Rustoleum cans with the built in trigger. Awesome paint. I bought it at Home Depot.

fliptuner 09-09-2013 12:39 AM

I like how they looked before but that's just me. However, I really like that paint colour you got. I'll be hitting up HD for that colour, to paint my RX8's.

alright, so i have been spent a little time on a lip im making for the ef, its 2 lips put together to make one and so far its turning out great! might finish today if im bored!

picked up a bunch of clamps from princess auto, $2 a piece and this was the only plastic weld/apoxie i could find so i hope it holds

http://i1154.photobucket.com/albums/...g?t=1378829921

http://i1154.photobucket.com/albums/...g?t=1378829900

both lips cut and put together

http://i1154.photobucket.com/albums/...g?t=1378829761

i taped off bother edges of the lip and filled it with black silicon to make a nice smooth line, worked perfect!

http://i1154.photobucket.com/albums/...g?t=1378829833

then i got bored and plasti dipped the washer fluid bottle, looks much better! im thiinking about running the rear fluid motor to a nozzle for a fmic sprayer.. not that i need it.. but why not

:determined-serious-

http://i1154.photobucket.com/albums/...g?t=1378829855

http://i1154.photobucket.com/albums/...g?t=1378829877

i think my mounts are dry enough to go in so that will be happening this week also!

I think it would have been better if you had left 2 strips of the bottle unpainted so at least you know when the bottle is empty. 2 strips because you have to let some light in in order to see the fluid level.

...meh...nothing too exciting... did some stuff to the wife's civic:

- put on RSX stockies with fresh/new Michelins
- installed the coupe exhaust tip (I hate that oval one)
- full detail - (I hate black cars!)

I like the new look, I think you should paint the bolts to make them pop.
