it was two pieces of silencers somewhat stuck or welded together.
I didn't examine it closer enough

imp_squared 10-09-2013 09:57 PM

uggghhh some exhaust silencers come like that.

like the Megan Racing silencers, that is what I have installed on my exhaust.

Cleaned out my brakes/rotors, had my new 21" alpina's on my f01 installed. Still waiting for the cap locks so I can install the caps.

Also prepping my car for AmmoNYC stuff I ordered, can't wait to try this stuff out.

always loved the 21' alpinas, look great on your 7 series....there are some for sale on Craigslist for $4500....I am tempted to buy them for my M5!

Ha, I e-mailed that seller a few weeks ago because the price was good but a few issues came up; the tires were cheap and they were the wrong size, 25 series. And he wouldn't clarify if the wheels were refinished or not so I decided not to waste my time with him. Refinished wheels don't have the orange sticker were the lugs go and I would personally stay away from refinished wheels especially 21's.

Thanks for the heads up.....they did seem too cheap.......I can't believe how much better the wheels look with the centre caps. Post some pics when you are done

damnit where's the tape?

athiam 10-12-2013 10:55 AM

LOL, was told by the shop to leave the tape intact for a day. He said that the tape will prevent the widshield from moving while letting the adhesive to bond properly.

Tried my hand at Vinyl wrapping for the first time today, I used 3M Scotchprint in Brushed Titanium. First pic shows the texture of wrap and 2nd pic is what i wrapped... Terrible lighting in my garage though...

Couple things done recently.

First, fabbed up a gas prop rod for the MR2, with help from entrax. Ok, maybe I helped him.. but I bought the stuff!

Also got window visors today, so I slapped those on the Integra.

Fitment is ok, for a $30 ebay item. Hope they don't rip off on the highway or whatever :lawl:

^ Nice paint job.

Ordered a pile of parts, also built a DIY Home Depot catch can ($30) and installed it. Hopefully that stops the smoking once the last of the old oil gets burnt off.

Krazer 10-18-2013 08:41 PM

Nothing too special

Oh snap haha I figured you had just sold your car and bought a different one so I was trying to make a (bad) joke. Nice job!

Zedbra 10-19-2013 07:37 AM

After a few emails yesterday, I found out that Weathertech is sending me a free replacement floor mat for my 4 year old worn to hell mat that I have in my car. Great customer service.

No more blue winter rims.

Sprayed them a metal graphite.

The color looks very nice.

underscore 10-19-2013 10:43 PM

Removed my Yonaka seat and very tall bracket and installed my stock seat with its much lower brackets. The seat weighs more, but sitting a good 2-3 inches lower makes the car feel faster haha
