Where did you get that from? Looks like the perfect stuff to cover up ugly ass "wood" trim pieces in older cars that are otherwise nice looking. I'm thinking about you, Lexus ES300.

Nmotion sells the scraps from when they wrap peoples cars, i bought a 24"x12" scrap for 10 bucks.

How do you put the pin in? can you squeeze your hand in over the top?

ApePee2 10-21-2013 08:24 PM

^Yup there's an opening just above the license plate (4th pic, where the plate light is)

I like white.... not my car though.

meme405 10-25-2013 04:07 PM

I think it looks really good. Probably looked really good in white too though.

The TL Type S is just such a nice looking car...

dboy 10-25-2013 04:19 PM

Damn I want a type s.

Fafine 10-25-2013 04:42 PM

SpuGen 10-25-2013 05:45 PM

Now it just looks like you ran out of money to paint it.

LP700-4 10-25-2013 05:48 PM

Maybe it will look better with different pics. To me it looks alright with the darker gunmetal rims.

But thats the beauty of plastidip haha just rip it off.

fuck me
is it possible to repair a cracked bumper to like-new condition? going to take it to a shop tomorrow and get a quote
a new OEM painted bumper is going to cost me $400ish

kunoman1 10-25-2013 07:40 PM

How to Repair your Plastic Bumper - Car Craft Magazine

Could try that, use some primer and repaint it with some color matched spray cans

Suprarz666 10-25-2013 08:09 PM

If you can get a new OEM bumper painted for $400 thats cheap.
It will cost more to repair it unless you DIY.

Nvasion 10-25-2013 08:18 PM

new oem bumper for 400 and its painted!? WOW that is a killer deal.

just paint bumper if including r&i will alrdy be 600ish at my shop.. i actually remember you coming to my shop a few months back when you scratched your front or rear bumper.

removed dip, spent the entire afternoon still have bits and pieces everywhere looking like shit

so many regrets doing plasti dipping the car
waste of time and money
dip jammed into small-ass cracks is such a bitch and only half the panels had thick enough dip that it was really easy to take off
i give up for today, will go back another day to clean it all up
/rant

mb_ 11-03-2013 04:00 PM

^But it looked good! :okay:

jing 11-03-2013 04:03 PM

Dip can easily be power washed off. Removed all the dip from my wheels in less than a half hour whereas peeling it took like 2 hours just for half a wheel when it peeled off in tiny pieces

I think it looks tacky... White def flows better. Good it's plastidip so you can remove.

I hate Plasti dip. I prefer wrap. Extra money but I prefer to spend extra money on something than extra time.

I can waste money because money can be replenished. Time cannot.
