How do you put the pin in? can you squeeze your hand in over the top? |
^Yup there's an opening just above the license plate (4th pic, where the plate light is) |
Plastidipped the little trunk lid spoiler today. First time using plastidip and i think it went alright. http://i.imgur.com/AUVE5KB.jpg http://i.imgur.com/pt4lrIi.jpg http://i.imgur.com/msbbnmO.jpg http://i.imgur.com/DjphBFV.jpg What do you guys think? |
I like white.... not my car though. |
I think it looks really good. Probably looked really good in white too though. The TL Type S is just such a nice looking car... |
Damn I want a type s. |
Think it looks better white.. Posted via RS Mobile |
White looks better to me as well Posted via RS Mobile |
Now it just looks like you ran out of money to paint it. |
Maybe it will look better with different pics. To me it looks alright with the darker gunmetal rims. But thats the beauty of plastidip haha just rip it off. |
http://i905.photobucket.com/albums/a...psb9b03402.jpg fuck me is it possible to repair a cracked bumper to like-new condition? going to take it to a shop tomorrow and get a quote a new OEM painted bumper is going to cost me $400ish |
How to Repair your Plastic Bumper - Car Craft Magazine Could try that, use some primer and repaint it with some color matched spray cans |
If you can get a new OEM bumper painted for $400 thats cheap. It will cost more to repair it unless you DIY. |
new oem bumper for 400 and its painted!? WOW that is a killer deal. just paint bumper if including r&i will alrdy be 600ish at my shop.. i actually remember you coming to my shop a few months back when you scratched your front or rear bumper. |
lol was that you at open road autobody? thanks again man, i'm a terrible driver lol temporary solution for now is zip tie stitching it (drift life) :troll: new wheels first :lawl: |
Installed hood struts. Oem clip for hood prop rod finally snapped. http://i18.photobucket.com/albums/b1...ps1399c56d.jpg |
http://i905.photobucket.com/albums/a...psad40549c.jpg removed dip, spent the entire afternoon still have bits and pieces everywhere looking like shit so many regrets doing plasti dipping the car waste of time and money dip jammed into small-ass cracks is such a bitch and only half the panels had thick enough dip that it was really easy to take off i give up for today, will go back another day to clean it all up /rant |
^But it looked good! :okay: Posted via RS Mobile |
Dip can easily be power washed off. Removed all the dip from my wheels in less than a half hour whereas peeling it took like 2 hours just for half a wheel when it peeled off in tiny pieces Posted via RS Mobile |

I hate Plasti dip. I prefer wrap. Extra money but I prefer to spend extra money on something than extra time. I can waste money because money can be replenished. Time cannot. IMO |
