Changed all four rotors and pads today. While taking off my right front wheel I found out my rack seals are leaking. May need a new rack and fluid :okay:

Better remove it all in one go soon.

Or else it will end up in hall of shame :troll:

I wouldn't use more than ~1500 on your car's paint, and whatever the PSI, please don't go too close. wheels are different.

J.C 11-03-2013 08:15 PM

it took forever, but most of i got most of it off, it's just the lower portion where it's really thin
inb4 i see myself on hall of shame :troll:

i have dipped my grill before on my tl and thinner works too, but im not sure if you want to try it on your car paint because it might be too strong. another thing that i found that works is wax and grease remover because it softens the plastidip and you can hose it off after or rub it off.

Installed a Whiteline-style front strut tower bar and OEM taillight vents, also replaced my drivers front CV and tossed the battery on a charger. Hopefully tomorrow I can find out if that solves my clunking problem.

Yeah my rack seals are worn. A new rack is around $450 before labour and there's no way in hell I'm doing that myself lol. Not getting anything reman either. Well then...

Don't know if this technically fits into "What I did to my vehicle" but since there's no official "Post your dyno graph" thread. I did some ecu tuning on the evo a couple weeks back and made 446 whp / 373 tq :)

Car is pretty fun atm...even with awd there's no traction in the wet for 1st...2nd gear spins as well on 245/45/18 Michelin pilot super sports.

Still need to add the meth kit and toxicfab v3 manifold and then I'm done for the year as far as power mods. Here's a pic of her all prepped before going out for ceramic coating:

depressing stage in modding for me :okay:
one hid went out, bumpers cracked and lips scratched, one plate light went out, and plastidip stuck in little gaps

Will be driving this every day starting from this weekend for the next year or so, figured I might as well do a few minor things.

DRL and amber delete coded in, angel eye DRLs now  Nokya yellow fogs and Philips X-Treme Vision low beams coming in the mail in a week or so.
