However, if I keep this for my life and I can pass it on to my children , it should worth the cost. =)

$150 still seems like a deal, considering the initial cost.

Spoiler!
Yup, still a good deal. $150 for 22oz of premium wax. 61% carnauba wax and other natural ingredients.

I havea feeling they might jack up the price later down the road tho ...

is there a limit to how many times you can refill it?
cuz I can see them beginning to charge for refills if people were just re packaging and reselling it, and then getting free refills

To the best of my knowledge, if they have grounds to believe that you are reselling the items for profit, they can terminate the service. However, I have heard people refilling it 4- 5 times within a yearm as he claiemd he has so many family vehicles.......

Replaced the #4 injector and valve cover gaskets through a shop in Kamloops since it was too damn cold to work on it.

Picked it up after work today.

And... surprise.

Who said lightning doesn't metaphorically strike twice?

The shop left a rag on the exhaust manifold.

The fire was situated in a pretty hard place to see, so it's pretty hard to check for damage without taking it apart. ICBC told me not to risk starting it until they had a chance to take a look at it anyway.

Luckily I now carry a fire extinguisher with me in the trunk, so I managed to get most of it under control before the fire department arrived. Double lucky that I had decided to stay in Kamloops for the night instead of heading back home to Salmon Arm. Definitely could have been a lot worse.

Caught on fire after I had pulled up to the gas station in order to fill up. It wasn't until I had gotten out of the car that I noticed my hood had turned into a chimney.

Moved the MR2 out of the garage for a friend's car, then decided to drive it around the block. Now I really can't wait for spring lol.

Lol @ zymol.

There are very similar waxes at 60 bucks that work just as well...

Most popular and what I use, being P21s.

But any wax with high carnuba content will give very similar results at literally a fraction of the cost.

In the business of detailing , preparation is the key as the wax will only enhance your final finish. A quality wax comes in several form of characteristics such as durability , degree of reflection and ease of use.
I found that Zymol wax gives me a warm / wet dripping effect plus the smell of ingredients. Durability for me is not a problem as I clean my vehicle all the time. Finally, the wax is easy on easy off and I can even speed shine the layer again to make it more shiny.

A wax is worth what you want to spend.. if it makes you feel all warm and tingly just thinking about using it then it might be worth it for you

So you use Zymol Vintage?

If not then please shut up, cause there are many brands which have the same carnuba content of 61% as the zymol. And they cost significantly less than $2500.

In fact they cost less than a single re-fill of zymol vintage. I buy my 6.6oz container of P21s for about less than $40 shipped to my door. That means I could get 22oz of the stuff still for less than zymol charges for a refill, and I never have to worry about them denying me re-fills cause I might be "using it for business" or other stupid reasons.

This is one of those scenarios where a company is overcharging significantly for a product, and because of that huge price tag people bought think it is such a great product. In reality its not better than all the other premium waxes available.

I stand by my opinion: if you spend $2500 on a tub of wax you are truly a sucker of the marketing machine...

EDIT:gn02156668 probably uses regular zymol which costs like 60 bucks...

@gn02156668, don't take this the wrong way, but you seem to have spent quite a lot on the corolla.. are you considering a new vehicle? or are you going to keep modding the corolla?

Meh, different strokes for different folks.

Not everyone's going to like everyone else's choice in cars, wax, wheels, mods, etc.

As long as he likes it and isn't tripping on the "my car is better than yours" train, what do I care? We all know, for the most part, modifying cars is a terrible investment. So if he wants to blow a paycheck on a tub of wax and it makes him happy, why not?
