My too do list is:

JB4 ISO5

METH

Yeah I'm probably done with the car after my custom headlights, hood, side skirt splitters and DP's arrive. Wallet is empty now, just wanted to get this modding stage over with.
Don't want to invest too much into it.

Was also looking at the jb4 g5 originally but <$60 shipped for the g4 vs ~$400 shipped for the g5 is a no brainer. Only thing I really like about the g5 is the gauge sweep :P

Luckily my car came modded with DCI/ older procede tune which I removed/ m3 front bumper / full exoticspeed exhaust system. I'm really eying the m-tech rear bumper with diffuser. + LCI LED TAIL LIGHTS LOOK AWFULLY SEXY, but performance upgrades come first :D

Are you doing OSS for headlights?:ahwow:

Akinari 12-07-2013 01:31 PM

Swapped all my dome and map lights to LEDs, much brighter

The headlights are going to be a prototype being done by a shop in the US. It's going to take around half a year to make. It is going have all F32 headlight internals with the the hexagon rings being shrunken down by about 20% to flow with the car better.

I never liked the non full circle outer rings and also didn't want to pay almost $800 to get a set of headlights that everyone has.

However, for now I'm going to do diy headlights with full outer rings and gloss black housing. Will sell these headlights when the real deal arrives.

4 years of N52

Returned my crai remon x3 today. :okay:

Feels weird, felt like I lost a family member.

the spare was driven for 3 months and the diff didn't break down :fullofwin:

https://scontent-a-sea.xx.fbcdn.net/...69180027_n.jpg

Problems I had over the years

1) wiper would stop on me @ 100km/h in heavy rain
2) battery died at 2 years had to call bmw a billion times before they gave me a new battery (it was cranking hard this morning too :lol)
3) passenger door sill had a leak for 3 years, the whole floor had to be flooded before it was fixed
4) tire bulge on rear left tire, had to replace with OEM tire. Replaced one tire, drove for 1.5 years despite 100% left, 30% right:ilied:
5) rear right then had 4in bolt into the tire, patched and drove around for 4months

I believe the air filter wasn't replaced as mfd date was from 09, had only 2 oil changes within the 4 years of lease.

Considering the abuse I gave to it, it was a decent car to drive.
Anyhow, godspeed remon X3.

edit: Forgot that the muffler broke and was replaced too :lawl:

Just take the hub caps off, it looks better IMO.

dared3vil0 12-08-2013 11:11 AM

^ I saw a very similar golf (without the hubcaps, just on steelies) that had said steelies color matched the same white as the car... Looked really good actually. (for a winter setup)

fliptuner 12-08-2013 12:39 PM

+1 steelies, no covers. They're utility wheels anyways and covers just trap crap off the road.

Also, Krylon, satin finish is awesome for steel wheels.

White cars are cool cause you can pretty much paint the wheels any colour and it'll have a good contrast.
