on my 5 series:

I was having a small rough idle (just on idle).

I was curiously looking around the engine bay and noticed something was off, and my EGR air pump was basically off its mounting bracket and somewhat dangling. Luckily it never hit the floor and get hit or anything.

Ordered some new rubber mounts to attach the air pump to its bracket (3 small mounts @ $21 each - ouch!). I needed a new EGR hose too, as the old one was basically disintegrated.

issue is fixed, and running smoothly for now Also my odometer rolled past 200,000kms.

You know when you're looking for something but you find something else that you've been looking for ages ago? Yeah that's what happened here.

I figured out I had a radiator leak. Requested a qoute for a used radiator from a few spots since I can't locate the leak. I also adjusted the air intake. Seems there was a leak.

Over the last week I've done the following:

1) DIY taillight gaskets:

Old:

New: (Doubled up because the foam was thin, put a bead of silicone where the gasket touched the taillight)

2) Cleaned up door/hatch jams of crap and mildew:
Before

After:

3) Repaint wiper arms:
Before

Checkout that corrosion!!

After

4) Plasti-dipped side moldings and front lip:
Before

After

Sorry for the large pictures...
