I don't know a lot about car maintenance and I'm changing my brakes for the first time soon. |
^ stress on the brake lines, never put stress on brake lines. |
Look how stretched the hydraulic line is. Looks like it's holding the weight of the whole axle. If it had to droop that far to get the coils in, it's only 2 bolts to get the caliper off. |

think of it this way, if the car is lowered from stock, there will be more slack then stretched for all lines, brake line, speed sensor etc etc I see your point, ahh my bad I guess I did put some extra stress on the brake lines during install, my goof lol |
At least you know better for next time. |
Yeah it's not the best thing to do but at least you have a newer car, it'll shorten the life of the line but it's unlikely to show any immediate damage. |
I installed a harness and relay today to make my car signals flash 3 times if I just push on the stalk lightly (rather than pushing the stalk so that it clicks into the turn position). Cool little mod. |

(This is a by product of moving everything from a huge house with a big garage and shed to a tiny little garage. I need to get rid of some stuff, anyone need some extension ladders, I have like 5 for some reason...LOL) |

I drove some German cars that have that feature and loved it. Posted via RS Mobile |

I actually got pulled over a few weeks ago for not using my turn signal for a minimum of three flashes and I once owned a 2006 that did these flashes automatically, so I knew this mod was going to happen. The hardest part was getting the wires and connectors out of the one plug/harness and then pressed into the new plug. Tried using a Blue Point tool, that was useless. Tried hammering a paperclip flat and that worked for one and then bent to heck, so I finally found a flat cotter pin and I turned the tips down and it popped those connectors out of the old harness plug like nothing. So, once I figured out those wires, it was rather easy. I should add that I had a friend help me because it is not easy to hold the harness/plug, wiggle the cotter pin just right so the connector 'clicks', and pull out the wire/connector. |

Anyone know if this is in the MVA (min. 3 flashes for lane change/turning)? |
Damn i wish they made one for Honda/Acura. One of the little things on a car that make it so much better. |

Installed a spin knob, and did some spins. And an air freshener, the interior of the RX7 absolutely reeks of weed. Quote:

Not today but over the past month I've began building my new 550hp engine for my Scout. Today tho I built one of two heads for a 2.5 mazda v6 I'm building. Aiming for over 300whp. Custom cams dual valve springs titanium retainers ported out the intake runners and smoothed the combustion chambers. |
I washed bird crap off of the corolla; even they hate it :okay: |
My Hyundai comes with the auto-3flash signal. It does come in handy alot =P |
