there is difference between the fog light and lower center garnish. Looks good but it needs either lowering or a lip!

Also the significance of the different bumper? Is it from a higher model or something?

Higher model (US only) but lower price when ordered in Canada.

Lowering springs already ordered. I'll consider a lip once I factor in drop.

It's hard to tell the difference because of the dark colour.

Here's the difference on a lighter colour.

If you still don't see the difference, then I don't know what more to say.

TjAlmeida 04-16-2014 07:21 PM

I seen the difference right away. Looks good dude!

Best part is the fact that it's covered in like 1/8" of dust and you can't even tell!

Amen, one of the nicest I've ever seen. The yellow Brembo's set it off.

Just got in from working on my car all day. What started as a 2 hour job turned into a 6 hour job FFS. I initially replaced one of my sunroof drain tubes as the tubes on the older VWs are known to dry and leak; the factory simply butted the hose to the nipple and glued a connector over top. Anyways, I had done my back ones before and patched my front one in the past by running a smaller tube inside and siliconing a plug on the end, but I was still getting water.

So, I buy the hose I needed and expected a quick $10 fix. Got the headliner down (not fun), ran a new tube (had to get my wife to help - again not fun), and then buttoned it all up. Test some water - still puking out everywhere.

Take the entire headline down (takes over an hour), take the enitre sunroof out, and find that all four corners where are simply put together with butyl tape. FU VW! So, I pulled off the back corners, scraped the tape and siliconed them to be water proof. Had to lift and silicone the front corners, all while not getting the silicone all over the interior. Let that dry, then all back in it had to go. Figured I would replace the one last remaining OE drain, but I had to do that one by myself and it actually went a lot smoother than the first one.

It's all back in, there's a few blood stains on the liner from all the skinned knuckles, but it is working well and it's now going to keep my interior dry. Finally. SO, again, FU VW. But I love my car. :)

Fuck, I need to buy yet another set of lugnuts now because even with an 8mm spacer all my closed ended nuts bottom out on the ARPs, and I'm missing one from my set of open ended BWRs. I've already got 4 or 5 sets for the 2 cars that run them, FML.

Just finished changing the fuel pump on my jeep. It took all day and nothing would go easy, but it runs again. :D It also finally gave me an excuse to install the trailer hitch, now im all set for camping season.

underscore 04-18-2014 07:16 PM

What type of Jeep? If it's a Cherokee you're lucky you installed the hitch after doing the pump and not before.

BABU 04-18-2014 07:44 PM
