Got new rear pads for the RX7 and got new fronts on order for tomorrow, then used gasket maker to seal the heck out of my block off plate.

Yup gloss black. I'm not a fan of matte black trim. I got them on e90post!

Edit:

I also took care of those amber reflectors on the front bumper today. No school = lots of time to mod.

Replaced fan clutch in the 325i, and noticed a coolant leak on the 240z. Looks like from between the head and the block. Arghhh. Engine swap sooner then later?

Sun came out for 10 minutes so decided to test out Ammo NYC's wheel cleaner, pretty good results.

Couldn't get a close up because it started raining;

a total of 6 codes stored

turns out the shop/mechanic when working on the starter broke the the knock sensor, coolant temp sensor and forgot to plug the tps sensor

the only true code was the 02 sensor
bought and replaced (denso 150 shipped to the states)

no more codes!
do a quick drive cycle

and pass the aircare

Car drives perfect now!
a total of 150$ in parts and 0$ in labor

jackp0t was the shop anywhere near PoCo?

I got my GTFour with a "blown headgasket, fried piston rings, or fried clutch" (mechanics words) for dirt cheap. It ended up needing spark plugs/wires, an exhaust stud and an intake coupler. Not quite as crazy as that RSX but it does happen a fair bit.

Can't begin to tell you how painful it is to clean them after every drive. If I don't clean them after every drive than the brake dust cakes on and it's even a bigger bitch to clean.

oem pads on bmws are pretty dusty...

seen some lease returns and neglected bmws with wheels caked with brake dust

and the ones that are caked are the designs that are always hard to clean!

But I like the livingroom mod pics.

Good thing the landlord never goes down there lol

I'd suggest you reinforce the underside of the desk with plywood or a metal plate, before you bolt a vise or grinder to it.

Ill trade you some easier to clean wheels for them...

Do you only have the Ammo wheel cleaner? Or did you buy all the products?

I'm really interested to know how the products are to use. I love watching Larry's videos and the products look awesome...

Installed New Cap, spark plug wires, rotor, points and one of two condensers. Couldn't get the other condenser out with my lacking selection of screwdrivers without removing the whole distributor.

Also removed the front sway bar for refurbishing so it will look all pretty with the new bushings/endlinks.
