Got a bunch of stuff coded:
- LCI tail light retrofit
- corner amber LED delete
- amber turn signal delete
- fog lights on upon unlock
- disable dimming of angel eyes when low beams on
- vehicle speed display
- efficient dynamics display
- wiper completion upon engine off
- sunroof auto close when rain detected
- comfort exit
- disable seatbelt chime
- disable key in ignition chime
- raise windows with key fob

And probably some minor small things I forget...

Button is slightly closer to one side than the other...that's going to bother me so eventually I'll fix it but I'll put in the rest first. The others will be USB charger (always on even when car is off), dashcam power select (runs only when the car is on or run off battery power when the car is off) and...one more I haven't decided. Ejector seat?

So clean, love it.

Thanks! And its all easily removable when I eventually sell the car.

Haven't decided if I want to use an identical double sided rocker switch for the dashcam power mode next to it or something different.

On rare occasions throughout your life you get the limited opportunity to be a badass.

This is one of those times.

Do it.

:D

Get two of those (but pushbuttons) for your garage doors, one toggle for the dashcam and use the subtle looking one for the NOS haha

Vulgate 07-10-2014 03:16 PM

Nice!

Did you do the coding yourself or someone else did it? Or did you use the BMWhat app or other app?

Washed her today. I was getting pissed off at all the tree sap causing dirt to build and smear on all my glass.

i stared at my car today... that feeling when there's so much work to do, you end up staring blankly at it and get nothing done.

I did it via NCS

What I've done over the past couple of days.

Changed spark plugs and found oil on the plugs. I guess i have to do a valve cover gasket change in the near future.

This weekend I thought I would replace my clutch.
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v1...ps3b3785d7.jpg
Good thing I didn't put it off any longer. Yikes.

This was supposed to be my new clutch.
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v1...ps1f81817a.jpg
Funny thing is that the mounting holes didn't line up.

So I started to second guess the parts I ordered online.

Nope. Part number matches up with my year and trim of car.

I check out the transmission and discover the previous owner swapped in an 1989 tranny (my car is a 1990 model). The give away was the number of grooves on the input shaft. There is no way to tell what transmission i had from the outside until i opened her up. Now I'm off to pick up a clutch locally for an arm and a leg.

I had someone do it for me. $80 for unlimited coding.

Retrofitted LED amber turns into my side mirrors and added carbon fiber mirror caps to match my CF speed3 spoiler. There are easier ways to get LED turn side mirrors than retrofitting, but I wanted to retain my heated mirror and BSM functionality.
