Anyone want a 1992 325i? I'm serious, come take it for $1000 including the $400 starter (you'll get $100 core charge back when done). I can't bloody get the intake manifold off to get at the starter. So frustrated. Dropped on Bilstein PSS coilovers, I do believe the rear struts need replacement. Other then that the car drives like a dream. A bunch of little electrical things don't work like finicky windows etc but it is a great car. Edit: I take it back. Going to a shop to be fixed. I think I'll still be selling it as I've been thinking of doing so for a while, but the price will be going up for a good driveable car. Sorry to those who PM'ed me. |
I've heard it can be done without removing the manifold if you have a bunch of wobble extensions and a buddy, not fun either way though. |
I think that's only possible with a manual. I've got a lonely automatic. Getting towed to a shop sigh |
had to much fun and cooked the trans in the new winter beater :fuuuuu: |
Finally put the new blower motor in. Drove to the carwash in heat, feel so good! Discover a leak on driver side though at the carwash. The driver seat ended up all wet, drove home with a wet bum. Hey at least I got heat! |
New rad in the Jeep might be overcooling in this weather. Interior heat isn't great and since it's heading up the Coq tonight, rigged up a rad cover with an old floormat. http://i.imgur.com/xciSJoM.jpg?1 |
^I use to have to do that in Manitoba with my old YJ. The thing wouldn't ever heat up despite a good thermostat. |
Good to know. I left the two outside slats open just in case but I probably could've covered the whole thing and it'd be fine. My Cummins runs super cool over 80km/h, with the grill uncovered, when it's under 5*. |
Check your thermostat, my Cherokee was running ice cold all winter unless I packed the grill with snow, turns out the thermostat had exploded so it was wide open all the time. It's nice and cozy at the proper temp all the time now. |
Put the winter rims/tires on http://i18.photobucket.com/albums/b1...ps8jipdps1.jpg |
Hit a raccoon and it tore through my lower grille so now there's a hole :( http://i479.photobucket.com/albums/r...r.jpg~original |
was the racoon okay? |

Refinished my DS2s with the help of my wife. First time trying it, so its not even close to perfect, but its good for a set of winters. I don't have any before pics, but they were literally this fucked. http://www.eadperformance.com/1029BMW/msystem02.jpg in between: https://farm8.staticflickr.com/7566/...fb2ce6cc_b.jpgUntitled by westophervan, on Flickr A finished wheel.
