What was supposed to be a normal car wash turned into more of a light detailing  I could feel tons of crap on the doors when the sponge slid over, had to whip out the clay and start claying the entire car sans the hood which for some reason was completely fine. Didn't take any photos of the clay bar, but it looked real brown and otherwise gnarly afterwards :heckno: Oh winter. |

Changed clutch master on the Miata and even though I bench bled it first, I couldn't get any fluid down to the slave nor any pedal pressure. So I drilled a hole in the cap of the old master and pressure bled it with an air nozzle. Seems to have worked out. I really need to get a vacuum bleeder. |
Yo ice boy |

Cleaned out tails w/ replacing the gaskets and swapped to an 98+ rear bumper :P http://i59.tinypic.com/2ica9h3.jpg |
Interior cleaning and detailing + almost a month of waiting but finally got the weathertech mats on. |
Swapped battery on the bug and sorted out it's 'winter upgrades' list. Started buttoning up the turbo swap on project Audi, finding more problems (as these things go). Dropped the doors on the MK1 escort, sorted out the seating position and prepped it for roll cage updates. |
Replacing rear brake line on my truck. Thanks, GM, for putting the union in the frame rail, right beside the saddle tank, so it's completely inaccessible. Only options were to drop the tank (w/ 100L of fuel in it) or disconnect the line and all 7 retainers from the front of the frame and push it back so I could get to the union - I chose the latter. Yay. :rukidding: |

Worked on my girlfriend's Blazer today. She was complaining that the brakes were making noise... https://fbcdn-sphotos-h-a.akamaihd.n...e65fcd6b781950 https://scontent-b-sea.xx.fbcdn.net/...9f&oe=552BFE5A Had to buy a new caliper. Both pistons had score marks, plus one of the pistons actually popped out of the housing. https://fbcdn-sphotos-d-a.akamaihd.n...c7fdbd15995161 Also, broke a brand new c-clamp somehow. Shitty Princess Auto tool. Looks like pot metal was used to form the brace. https://fbcdn-sphotos-b-a.akamaihd.n...8df22bfb2aabd1 |
Haha Scary. |
That clamp looks like it was designed for wood work, probably why it broke. |

Finally cleaned up the garage then attempted to lower the car. Since the coilover nuts were jammed pretty good i decided to let the PB Blaster sit over night. Mean while replaced the spark plug tube seals on the vc and while putting it back on decided to snap one of the vc bolts.....noticed something interesting on the back of the spark plug cover though. http://i1372.photobucket.com/albums/...ps9xyejvuh.jpg http://i1372.photobucket.com/albums/...psyoachoot.jpg http://i1372.photobucket.com/albums/...s512ncpi7.jpeg http://i1372.photobucket.com/albums/...ps904uyngl.jpg http://i1372.photobucket.com/albums/...psztnfkuqq.jpg |

Did I miss something? I remember this car being for sale a while back... Did it just not sell and you're parting it out? Or the as the new owner you're parting everything out? Seemed like a really nice and complete car, odd it's gettin the tear down... |
