If you think that's bad my stock (lifted 4x4 stance) ride height Mustang was too low.

rofl. Pretty much how ramps seem to work out for most cars.

I remember my dad used to use them for all his oil changes and jobs not requiring taking the wheels off. He'd drive cars up forwards, backwards, whatever was needed. When I was 15 or 16 and doing my first oil change dad had me drive up on the ramps...holy crap that is a scary deal when you're first starting to drive! Used 'em for my second oil change, almost launched the car off the back side and said "Never again". I've been a jack and axle-stand guy my whole life since.

----

Finished painting the undercarriage on the '58 today. Did the inside of each fender, rear suspension and apparently the back side of my head. Guess I touched a fender with my hair! Also finished the wiring of the horn, which meant making and setting up "the carbon brush" on the steering column. Wish I had taken a photo to explain what it is, but it was 50's VW's solution to getting a wire up to a turning steering wheel.

I finished up some wiring on the Coupe Quattro turbo swap, and then started on the fuel and oil lines. Guess I forgot to order a few fittings, so that's on hold until Monday. Works fine for me, it's back to the '58 tomorrow!

-D

Put on my Blox 490 knob that le gf got me. The weight makes such a world of difference, shifting has become effortless. Not feeling the height of the knob though, I predict a short shifter in the near future.

Also setup my boost gauge so I can monitor for leaks and such. Feels like a kid again watching the arm raise as you hit boost. Waiting until I can afford Oil Pressure and AFR wideband gauge before fabricating a pillar.

Screw it...winter is trolling us ... 12 degrees today...

Swapped out the waffle winters with my 18" A-specs wrapped in general g-max 'all weather'.

so for all that remember my hatch and miss it.

i have been doing alot of work to the DA, i have many small projects im working on and i do plan on another build thread. i have taken anti theft to a whole new level with this car and come up with some fun little things to make it my own.

im currently looking for a new set of wheels and tires.. as our dollar is so low compared to US im hoping to find someone local selling whistler kr1 in silver, 16x8+20

and interested in grabbing a 225/45 for them, might settle for a 215/45. i am aware of the 225/50s on here but 50 is for too tall unfortunately

i dont remember when i posted here last.. so

i recently changed my speedo cable so while everything was apart i wrapped the bezel and painted the needles

i recently got gsr seats and sold my ls seats so when the interior comes apart ill be doing a few things..

i picked this up today.. and will update you guys with what im doing with it

these are 2 very minor things but i assure you the car has had much more work that i shall update
