for a year, i always wanted the boost gauge to be on the steering column. finally decided to do it to get that warm/cold breeze on my left hand. just need a ebay gauge bracket now. http://i1307.photobucket.com/albums/...ps0qzz6rnq.jpg http://i1307.photobucket.com/albums/...psyzcgfj0m.jpg http://i1307.photobucket.com/albums/...psubhn2lmv.jpg http://i1307.photobucket.com/albums/...pso2q9ltvd.jpg http://i1307.photobucket.com/albums/...pszrp8gfyj.jpg |

I was lucky enough to have a friend let me use her shop to cut and weld. Thanks BEB  I spent a lot of time prepping and measuring to make sure everything went smoothly. The hardest part was jigging up to make sure the tube was welded straight. Since the sleeve is a pretty tight fit, if the tube isn't dead straight, it won't slide on. |

i am thinking of ordering this one (prosport replica) 52mm Universal Metal Single Gauge Swivel POD Mount POD Holder | eBay |
put in some shift paddle extensions that I painted cherry red (duplicolor) http://i496.photobucket.com/albums/r...G_00003136.jpg |
2 Attachment(s) Switched out the almost nonexistent clutch stop. It used to be right against the carpet with only the rubber sticking out. Just took it out for a quick spin and there's a huge difference in every shift and only cost me a couple bucks. The pedal sometimes slides to the left if I don't step on it from the left though so i'll need to cap another bumper on top. There's still enough distance from engagement point. Attachment 24492 Attachment 24491 |
1 Attachment(s) Test fitted my wheels I just got back. Needs more pull/camber. Rear fenders sitting on tires. Attachment 24531 |
1 Attachment(s) Made it to the eighties!!! Installed the new electronic distributor coupled with a MSD coil. Cleaned up the mess of wiring and relocated the electric fan relay. Fixed an exhaust leak. Suprised the difference the distributor made, could be the fact I bumped up the timing a bit too ;) |

That Dip job looks good. I thought about dipping my car, but I don't think it will be a lot of fun to clean it afterwards. I'm half way through polishing and waxing my Dub, need to take a break from this sun. |
U need to fix your water leak Quote:
|
^^from what I can tell there is no water seepage. The motor itself is encased in a housing including the control box. Its located in the interior right under the spare wheel/tools. |
