Will it be on YouTube?

immorality 05-10-2015 05:31 PM

Yup! Matt said that he has a stack of one takes that he has on the back burner so he can release them while he's travelling for work or on holidays. I was told that it will probably be a few weeks before it airs.

kakucaekz 05-10-2015 05:37 PM

Did he giggle? That is the real question.

So, figured it was time to pick up my broken TDI from the Coast.

This is most definitely one of those cases of "Do as I say, not as I do..."

Also, when you buy a car trailer to use as an actual car trailer, make sure it has a wide enough deck to haul your car...

the DA got a brand new windshield!

asides tha massive rock chip i got, the whole glass was speckled to the point driving against the sun was dangerous so this is a great upgrade

im going to give her a full detail in the coming weeks :)

focusing a little more on the GF's crx lately

starting some cheap rust repair, finished rolling/pulling fenders yesterday and she recently got some wider low offset wheels

next up install her coilovers and misc suspension upgrades

so the DA will be on hold for a while

:(

Got a nail in my tire, apparently it didn't go though as it went in sideways.

Took my tire to get patched but was too cheap for jack stands :troll:

I drove it at mission... like 2 weeks ago. didn't get the chance to upload the video. as part of a dying community (corollas) it's always fun to see and drive with another one at the track

Ughhh I dipped into the office briefly Sunday morning, and on my way back to go to mothers day brunch I got a massive rock launched into my wind shield, the entire thing cracked immediately.

Now I have to deal with that bullshit. Such a piss off.

Plasti-dipped mom's new 2016 cx-5 wheels a dark gunmetal this afternoon, turned out pretty solid imo, and then used some left over black to spray my front air ducts, little more aggressive look to it now, see how I feel about it after a few days :considered:

Did a compression test and got 165 160 160 160. spec in the manual is 165 psi. Not bad..

Thanks it looks like they even include extended bolts thats a sweet deal.
But I plan to switch to studs instead its such a pain putting the wheels back.

On the FX. I don't get to drive it often any longer, so when I can I take it out on the weekends.

crappy Picture:

It goes right from the bottom of the windshield to the the top, and I'm thinking by the time I get back this weekend its gonna have spread all the way across as well. meh.

Atleast I did manage to do some work this weekend:

http://i149.photobucket.com/albums/s...psri7ohmtf.jpg

Steering wheel and clockspring disassembled.

http://i149.photobucket.com/albums/s...psv89abior.jpg

New clock spring with paddles installed

http://i149.photobucket.com/albums/s...psc6jvh0tk.jpg

Covers put back on.

http://i149.photobucket.com/albums/s...pshcoauczc.jpg

Steering wheel back on.

http://i149.photobucket.com/albums/s...psnq5sgjsr.jpg

Everything back together.

http://i149.photobucket.com/albums/s...psaj6j0ycd.jpg

*click* Vroom....! :D

I also took the chance to nicely wrap and tuck my steering wheel control bezels in CF vinyl, like the rest of my interior is.

The wiring for the paddles actually isn't complete I have to run the cable from the center stack to the paddles and make all the connections, I will do that this coming weekend. (Hopefully).

Reeyal 05-13-2015 06:29 AM

I installed paddle shifters on my '13 FX as well. They worked great!

Your car already had the wiring harness tucked somewhere behind the wheel?

It's a great upgrade. I'm looking forward to getting them working and using them.

Spoiler!

Yeah, the wiring harness was pre-wired already. I just had to buy the mounting bracket.
Spoiler!

I live in a small town, with lots of highways. Driving to work at 6:30 AM, I get to pull 0 to 100 km/h (legally); with the paddle shifters, they put a smile on me every time.

deleted the resonator and secondary cats.. straight through with factory primary cats and mufflers only.

Sound of the gods. :sweetjesus:
