ran seafoam thru my vr6 and the neighbors were not happy and in addition, motorists kept a good distance away from me at stop lights. |

I thought that is a good thing? Quote:

Ralph's is gone, but managed find a place that was literally 'Honda Heaven' :fuckyea: As car gets older and older (just managed to hit 280k), there're tons of list just for the 'maintenance'. :okay: Pulled shits as much as possible that I could manage while I was there. http://i.imgur.com/FGIRKQrl.jpg |
Window got smashed in an impark lot by Robson at around 9pm today. Fortunately not much taken from the car from what I can tell, didn't have anything in there really. I fucking hate everyone that has ever touched another persons property, I hope the devil himself rapes you with a horse sized cock. |
If it was an Impark lot there's a good chance they had someone sitting there waiting to give tickets, maybe they saw something? |

It sucks but whatever, lesson learned, park on the street where there is people, not in some underground pay parking. Can't believe I paid 4 bucks to park and have some fuck come break my window. I hope some bigger fuck comes along and breaks his legs. The window is 250 bucks, looks like the trim and stuff is relatively undamaged, hopefully I can just buy the window and put it in, and be done with this. |
Saw you driving down bute tonight , didn't notice the smashed window, too busy checking out the ride. |

That looks sketch. I couldn't imagine driving with a window like that. Especially after seeing the remnants of how it is when that window actually does fall apart. |
Installed a subtle spoiler for now.lol http://i1178.photobucket.com/albums/...524_173120.jpg I notice the clutch in the bmw is so deep and the engagement is up high but thanks to BMS/Burgertuning for creating a solution Clutch stop they call it oem vs bms http://i1178.photobucket.com/albums/...524_153808.jpg I couldn't believe this small thing could make the drive even better! It definitely help me get used to the stiff racing clutch on this car. Hopefully no more stalling:lawl: and playing around with the cobb tune testing out linear throttle and stock throttle http://i1178.photobucket.com/albums/...523_123204.mp4 |
Does the clutch stop make a huge difference? I never found anything wrong with the clutch on my car but maybe I just don't know... |
I put one on my e36. Quicker shifts and since the clutch now sits higher up, your foot is not stepping as far down which is more comfortable especially if you have a stiff clutch. |
I was skeptical in the beginning as well how could this 15$ part can do so much. In the short period i drove the car today it was definitely less struggle to press the clutch.lol I can see how this will help shift faster as Simplex123 explained and as BMS advertised Once i get the hang of the stiffy clutch a will pair it with a short shifter BMW Short Shifter for 1 3 5 Series - BurgerTuning.com |
K I bought one to try. $12, why not. |
Nothing crazy, swapped out the spark plugs. Will be replacing the oil separator next weekend which will be a pain in the ass |
Washed the trunk and couldn't my hand at all. http://www.pixentral.com/pics/1Jgzy8...M3zQua9VT1.jpg Meguiar Compound, used a sponge and no buffer, only 3 minutes of rubbing. Will do more next week. http://www.pixentral.com/pics/1Z0tlI...NFbC0QRw60.jpg |
https://scontent.cdninstagram.com/hp...90434921_n.jpg Thursday night I loaded the Coupe quattro project up on a trailer. The car has all the paperwork lost by the P.O., so it was down to the border on friday morning to reimport the car. Sometimes the best/easiest solution is to simply pay the taxes and duties a second time. Since it was now mobile, took it in for an out-of-province inspection and then an alignment. Still working out the title issues with ICBC, but things look positive for licensing the car this week. In the meantime, we decided the seat mounts needed to change for more adjustment, so those were pulled out. Modified, re-welded, and popped back into the car. Traced down a boost leak, worked on some minor electrical bits and patched up a steering system weep. The car is now my best friend's, and once we've got plates and I've done a bit of testing on it, will be his 100%. Caught myself looking for another Coupe in Vancouver Friday, but the asking price was astronomical so I'm not at risk for buying one anytime soon. http://www.classiccaradventures.com/...c7-600x400.jpg Just finished a 6300km road trip in the Rally Bug, of which the last 160km had some pretty rough-running on the idle jets. It wasn't a clogged jet, wasn't an exhaust leak, but _something_ was wrong. Arrived home to discover the 3/4 intake was a tiny bit loose, almost imperceptible. Started tightening it up and snap! one of the intake studs broke off. Looking at the break, it had been cracked through 90% of the stud for a while (rusty) and tightening the nut finally did it in. I had some studs that would work, and turns out they were about 5mm longer which was much better. I use a long brass nut on the intakes, and the longer stud means more thread engagement. So I opted to swap out all four. I suspect I also need to address a 'problem' with my crank case breathing. Pulled 700ml of oil out of the catch cans after 6300km. Normally I don't see that over a whole summer. Could simply be from when I overfilled the oil system (gotta remember how much the level changes when hot!), or I could have an interesting new issue to trace down. ...always fun! -Dave |
