No plug just means the fuel is building up.........give it some time.

I changed my F/R LCA bushings:

You can see the cracked boot of #3. Must have happened at the same time because it looked fine a couple weeks ago when I checked it.

I went to replace all the brakes on my moms Tuscon for its second OOP, expecting everything to be trashed but the front pads are at 50% outer/25% inner, rotors are smooth. Rears are at 50% all around but have some grooving that matches the rotors. Now it failed the OOP because the rotors "are all grooved and all need to be replaced".

So now I have to tear it all apart again and replace perfectly good brakes because some twat won't pass it until I do (or pay them $800 to do pads and rotors when the parts cost <$400). Fucking bullshit.

Installed new valve seals in the Datsun and took her for a drive. Still smoked. So I pull the engine. Had it out in a hair over 2 hours this time around.

Inspected the brakes on the CB7, expecting to see little pad left because of squeaks when braking. Turns out there's still plenty left, front and back

Rotated the tires while I was at it.

fliptuner 07-25-2015 06:46 PM

Did you try scuffing the pads ad lubing the sliders?

bcuzracecarz 07-25-2015 06:54 PM

No, I only did a visual inspection

I should've opened the calipers to check them out but I was too lazy FailFish

fliptuner 07-25-2015 08:43 PM

Lol, I always harass people that do 75% of the work and don't go the rest of the way. The car's already up, with the wheels off, come on man?!?!

You did it the fancy way, I ended up having to use vice grips and a rubber mallet to roll mine as I couldn't get a roller or even a bat to fit :lol
