Replaced my auxiliary fan. Car is nice and cool now, and a nice easy DIY job.

LOL, before reading, I thought it got smoked.

Today I found out the brake upgrade on my EG interferes with my wheels. :okay:

Grinder or spacers....:considered:

After getting tired of seeing it sit for the last 2.5 years, I cleaned up the terminals and tossed a new battery in my old Celica GTS and it fired right up (once gas got up front). Now I just need to see if it's gained any gremlins and get it ready for Totem in November.

Akinari 08-05-2015 02:54 PM

Spent 6 hours last night doing my projector retrofits. Took out the amber plastic turn signal cover while the headlights were open and stuck in amber bulbs, installed matching clear side markers with blindingly bright VLED LEDs. Stuck on a new front bumper garnish (silver bit) to replace the old discoloured and scratched one. Also put on an EZ Lip as well that came out way better than I expected it would. Now just to get the ride lower next week then I'll be ready for summer meat :ilied:

Looks great but I think it would of been a good idea to black out the reflectors!

Akinari 08-05-2015 05:55 PM

I thought about it, but I've seen Elements with blacked out reflectors and didn't really like how it looked. Besides, I like the subtle OEM-ish look leaving the reflectors as is gives. There are little slats in the shroud as well so there's a bit of light that shines out from the shroud and lights up the inside of the housing that I particularly like!

painted headlights and upgraded my hid's. spent 2 days removing the bumper and fenders to get to the headlight. then baked the headlight to remove the lens and change the color. best of all the orange lights are still visible to turned on.

I didn't do anything today, but some fucking cunt modified my rear bumper for me.

320icar 08-08-2015 12:44 AM

Are you serious??

Energy 08-08-2015 01:07 AM

Wtf, what happened?

Akinari 08-08-2015 01:19 AM

Either vandals or hit and run? Either way, doesn't sound good. Hope you're ok at least Westopher :heckno:

westopher 08-08-2015 08:10 AM

Someone hit my car while it was parked. The bumper has a pretty reasonable sized gash down it. Won't need to replace parts, but it's definitely going to need some paintwork. I don't think technoviolet is going to be the easiest paint to match.FailFish
I guess I can't complain too much after poor ronin's situation.

dachinesedude 08-08-2015 07:55 PM

cleaned up the butt

could've exploded. :heckno: (maybe would've set itself on fire if it was your old GTi....)

entrax 08-08-2015 08:19 PM

not quite today, but this week. the first thing i've collected parts on over a span of time and stayed patient enough to put it on after every piece. 93 mr2 turbo brake upgrade for my 91. stock 15's now only have half cm of clearance left so i hope autocross wheels (also in 15s) still fit.

The right thing to do now is get an E46 M3. :hotbaby:

westopher 08-08-2015 09:26 PM

Can't afford. Spent all my money on a place with underground parking for the e36.... And an underground car wash.:toot:

richardmozis 08-08-2015 10:11 PM

Installed some wider, more aggressive AMG style IVs from an SL. 285's on the rear.

Can confirm that they will fit just fine.

Bit off topic but seemed like the right place for it, something to consider the next time you do some "power mods" lol...

Spoiler!
