Dude it's a V6 auto Mustang (I'm using that defence this time)

I thought it would be so atrociously bad on track it would be a giant waste of money.

Little did I know LOL

And now i'm hooked. My wallet hates you haha.

its just heat, you're getting too much heat to your braking system. you could do a few things:

backing plates would help although not that much
get brake vents
upgrade pads
upgrade calipers
upgrade rotors

alternatively, you can just never do mission again. personally i like it as a level playing field where you cant just rely on hp

Haven't washed the car since the water restrictions, only been rinsed by the dealership after an oil change. Fuck it, I don't care if it rains the next couple of weeks, got the last wash for the year. :alone:

Bail my winter beater out of impound. Put in a new battery for it... Was gonna sell it but with all the ticket and repair I put into it looks like I'm driving it to the ground....

Next up preparing the summer ride for storage

What do you mean?

GGRRRRRRRRRR IM SO FUCKING PISS.

A day after I bust it out the city impound. Had a day off work today was gonna change the oil on the beater. Went down stair and I got tow by the fucking strata. Had a visitor pass parked in the visitor spot. Still get tow. I think my car is like a favourite target for for my area now.

$500 worth of tickets and fine and towing fine within 3 days.

Funny thing is I had the car hidden away for the past 7months with no trouble. When I finally decide to take it out for the winter. All these bad luck happens

Fml

i think hes wondering if you were going 40km over the speed limit , which is usually the standard to get towed

threezero 11-10-2015 06:10 PM

Oh I see. No it was going zero km when it got towed. Parking violation.

tegra7 11-11-2015 04:48 PM

Did a trans flush, stock wheels back on, and a quick wash.

Don't they warn you before being towed?

dared3vil0 11-12-2015 01:21 PM

Flushed the nasty cola coloured RBF600 out, replaced wipers, swapped on hellasunk stockers, general winter maintenance.

jasonturbo 11-12-2015 01:27 PM

I'm guessing "test fitted" also included wide body fenders?

His next fav mod will be fitting wheels :fuckyea:

Drilled a hole into my dining room table while making a battery tie down for the Datsun. This is one expensive tie down. Hopefully finish it up tomorrow.

I really need a bloody garage.

New front tires thanks to the guys at 1010tires after I replaced the bushings on the LCAs. Working on the car Saturday I noticed I had too much toe wear so new tires were needed. New rear tires coming in few months after I 'enjoy' whats left of the rears. I think I need to do something about all the suspension components soon enough though

Acura604 11-16-2015 07:27 PM

One last coat of glossifer over anthracite gray dip on the winter wheels before they go on this weekend....should be interesting to see how the dip/gloss hold up. (they already have tires mounted so just gotta bolt them on - 4coats of dip / 3coats of gloss PER wheel)

My creative little battery tie down, for which I sacrificed my dining room table was a complete failure. Don't try being creative, or work with power tools when completely jet legged. It just doesn't work.

I got frustrated and ended up putting a piece of aluminum flatbar into a shitty vice and hammered on it until it looked like this. It's not my best work. But I needed a proper tie down for Auto-X on Saturday.

Acura604 11-21-2015 12:34 PM

Put on the winters today...but didn't invest in a SUV capable trolley jack yet... nor did I trust the wood method with my regular trolley jacks..... so went ghetto style and used the scissor jack... ugh...

Yikes.

hud 91gt 11-21-2015 04:48 PM

Beat on the old girl.

First Auto-x in the Datsun, and second ever in general. What a riot. She's a little twitchy compared to the old E36.
