Got my Michelin PSS 225/255 mounted on my 135i last week, just in time for the season
Took it to The Speed Syndicate today for alignment but they couldn't dial in any camber in the front for me. I guess I need to look into camber plates now.

Will be mounting winter/snow tires on my Saabaru 9-2x next week or so

Oppps; since this is a what You did to your car thread, I did try to remove the plastidip residue from the previous owner on the 135i's wheels. Whoever did this did a shitty job and sprayed into the lug holes as well and it was a bitch to get it out. Will try some goo gone next time.

Forget the goo gone. Spray unwanted dip with WD40. Give it a bit, and wipe away.

You have to remove the alignment pins on the fronts in order to dial in maximum camber without camber plates.

You're right. I read about removing the alignment pins the night before and total forgot about them when I went for the alignment this morning...

If you are gonna continue doing these videos, you might want to invest is some proper tools. You used an allan key for the torx bolts on the bumper? and I laughed pretty hard when you pulled out the claw hammer for a push clip

I use whatever tool fits. The point of my videos is that any noob can do it. I'm no expert and admit I don't know how to do things the way professionals do it. Oh well, glad you had a good laugh.

Pulled the coilovers and revert back to stock suspension on my bros gti

Its such a drag unmodding a car UGH

When i installed this coilovers awhile ago i dont remember it being a pain in the ass.lol
Took me 3 hours to figure out how to put the stupid front stock shocks back!
Spoiler!

Spring needed to be compressed in order for the whole strut to fit back in.
This has to be the hardest part of the job. (Imagine you manually wrenching the stupid spring compressor tool with just just your hands )

Luckily the rear is very easy to do with power/air tools it took literally 10 mins
Spoiler!

Wheel gap FML.lol

I started building a DIY cargo/dog net for my Cherokee to go behind the rear seat since I realized that if I ever got into an accident while going skiing one of us was likely to get domed by a ski boot, and the commercially available ones would run me $300 by the time it got here.

Aren't those bulbs originally the high beams? Assuming the new Cree bulbs are as bright as the photo makes them seem, wouldn't that mean you're pretty much constantly driving with your high beams blinding everyone

Looks annoying as fuck. DRLs are for other people to see you - no need for them to be that bright.

What did you do to your vehicle today?

^^ it's not brighter than regular halogen drls but brighter than the 68smd led AND they provide high beams which the smd didn't...they are just pure white. phone cameras can never capture the exact look/effect of lighting. Photos are quite over exaggerated. They're not blinding as they are not running at full power.

theres no reason to have brighter DRL's, its stupid. your car already has HID's, just use those...
