Springs, struts, shocks and adj. camber arms for gf's car. Mazda has a shitty setup the way they mount the front struts to the knuckle.

A full tank is ~51L (87 octane) and that gets me ~440kms. I had to purposefully drive like a grandma for a full tank to get that mileage.
My GTI 337 (1.8T - 6spd) used to get ~450kms per tank which worked out to roughly the same mileage (~12L/100kms) using 91 octane but I got that with a combo of regular spirited driving and hypermiling.
I miss my 337.
I do have to remember that my 2.5 is an auto and it's also a wagon (heavier) so that's two strikes against fuel economy. But it just sucks to have to drive slow to get the same mileage.

Installed new speakers into the Element. Pioneer TS-A1684R, a great improvement in sound quality compared to the crappy stock speakers.
In other news, after a 1500km drive to San Francisco in scorching heat and intense uphill highway sections at 4000rpm+, idle is sounding a little "tickier" than usual. Probably time for a valve adjustment.
Brakes are also getting worse, warped before the trip, now warped even more and something wrong with the brake fluid/master cylinder causing sudden pressure changes during high speed braking. I suspect deteriorated brake hoses. Going to get it looked at as soon as I return back to Vancouver.

Coils are all the way down now. Mashed the fenders up a bit with a tire iron and some cardboard to give some clearance. (fenders are already messed from rubbing, and a hit and run that isn't covered because I was still on my alberta insurance.)

made the mistake of parking under a tree today... my car was covered in sap!
I ended up claying the whole car, windows, trims, every inch.
The car usually gets a clay every summer, but I thought i'd skip out this year. I thought wrong. Atleast now it's as smooth as a baby's bottom, but I'll need to do a minor polish and wax soon.
