My voltage light came on. My stupid alternator stud was loose internally. Got that fixed today.

Life pro tip - if you have to swap to a larger alternator, use a big ass GM alternator. Parts are cheap and plentiful. I'm using a CS144 for my Lexus.

If anyone on here is looking to replace old tired leather, interior innovations sells these kits for about 700$ USD, really happy with the quality though installation is a bit of a struggle.

Not just today but worked on getting rid of my failing crappy PS system in my civic, it came with a faulty tie rod and rack leaking so finally was time to go. Thought about it and since it was a civic with a small dinky 1.6L decided to ligthen it's load some with a manual rack conversion + new tie rods. Crappy potato phone pics:

All the stuff going out on the right vs. what's going in on the left

Also managed to replace both seized rear calipers, braking is so much better, but starting to think my fronts are starting to stick....sigh

Yeah, just swapping in what APR recommended based on their testing for their stage 2 tunes. Idle seems smoother on the first cold start.

Swapped out the fried lift supports in my Cherokee, everyone made it sound like replacements were going to be really expensive but the pair was only $70 and took my 10 minutes to install. No more propping up the hatch with a stick or getting hit in the head!

Replaced blown factory rear door speakers. Had to modify the plastic speaker bracket with a Dremel to accommodate a 6.5" speaker. Check out those chunks of foam!

Blitz downpipe and custom testpipe installed. Exhaust is throatier and boost comes on much quicker. Exhaust is now complete; before just running HKS Super Silent catback. Has a good tone but not too loud at all, which is better for my lifestyle. It's my DD so I don't think I could handle the drone of a loud exhaust all the time.

Sideskirts are off and in the paint shop being prepped. Car goes in tomorrow for front and rear bumper repair and refresh. Pearl paint was wrong since I imported it so will be nice to finally match.

Looks funny with no skirts

Bought some troublesome tires that turns out to be a blessing in disguise

One of the tire is defected. Tire has a wobble

When i was test fitting 275/35 there was still room so i thought i could bump up to 285/35/18

UGH. Im shock at how big of a difference a 275 to 285!

Thanks to that defective tire and ebay protection
I was able to get my money back

Yup i lost money on mounting and balancing but thats a small price i payed to get the proper fitment then have regrets on the final stretch on the build.lol

Finally finished the second seat, it took a lot more work than the first seat to get a decent fit... god damn Pakistani sweatshop workers, like you're fucking 12 now, try to keep your work consistent.

Don't fret the tan switch assembly, it was only used to locate holes and run wires, I have BNIB OEM black switches.

Regulator decided to die on me this afternoon.

That's the number the battery was sitting at while the car was off. When it was running, the battery was pulling around 19v.

I don't need another visit from the fire department.

Also, no idea who designed the placement of the alternator on a D16, but I hate them for it.

They usually reserve the "In the event of fire, marshmellows in glove box" stickers for Ferrari's, but I think we can make an exception for this special case.
