and it continues...... upgraded the pick-up tube for a peace of mind http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v7.../WRBday19b.jpg upgraded the motor mounts. I couldn't see it when the old mounts were on the car, but once I took them out, I found they were starting to split. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v7.../WRBday19a.jpg new oil pump http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v7...5/WRBday20.jpg all done! :awwyeah: http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v7.../WRBday19c.jpg |
While I am still figuring out the welding conundrum for the rear flare Decided to send the parts to get painted http://i1178.photobucket.com/albums/...327_191343.jpg Spoiler! I made a comment that once i finish the e82 i will most likely neglect the bb1 Welp! i think i hurt her feelings because the next day the timing belt snapped! :yuno: Spoiler! More exp points for the e30 chassis Spoiler! Gain and spent on the same day.lol Spoiler! |
Woah. Many cars. Good selection from every era. Which car are you storing the S2000 seats in? I'd like to get my hand on a pair. |
Thanks man! cept for the rsx its a base model and an auto UGH! The s2k were actually my old seats that sold it to explicitluder when i switched to recaros Its mounted on to a BB1 i had to open the s2k seats and switch the seat pan(the bottom) To bolt on the the prelude At that time it was cheaper and easier to find Now it seems like a relic (the red seats) and price went up big time! |
did a much needed oil change on the new 86 http://i1368.photobucket.com/albums/...psxmgwugum.jpg http://i1368.photobucket.com/albums/...pslai2ph3a.jpg |

Some buddies helped me out tonight bleeding the fuel system on project dually. Lets just say after tonight, I'll never run my diesel down to empty! After we got the system primed, and worked some of the way-old-diesel out of the injector lines, the cummins fired right up and idled like a champ. One step closer, just in time to take a pause for the Hagerty Spring Thaw at the end of the month. |
there's something about fresh parts :sweetjesus: http://i7.photobucket.com/albums/y27...pswhcoobqk.jpg IN! Along with the water pump, I refreshed the oil cooler with new hoses and gasket. http://i7.photobucket.com/albums/y27...psfvx0bhxo.jpg |

I got myself a new camshaft bolt and sprocket http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v7.../WRBday44a.jpg IN! I want to give another shout out to sleepywheel for this! Thank you for your help! Throw a thanks his way if you're reading this cuz I can only give one. He's a stand up guy for sure! http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v7.../WRBday44b.jpg In case you haven't been following my progress, this is what he did for me. http://www.revscene.net/forums/66659...ml#post8743413 Broken mounting tab and on the cap = all new setup! It's kinda the theme of all the work I've been doing to the car. If I could reach it and I'm working in that area, it got changed. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v7.../WRBday45b.jpg And the issue that started it all. Leaking, noisy POS power steering pump on the left. Brand new on the right. See here for more info http://www.revscene.net/forums/70874...xperience.html http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v7.../WRBday45a.jpg New timing belt is on. I checked that the timing marks are lined up more times than I want to admit. It's my first time doing a belt change. :drunk: http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v7.../WRBday44c.jpg So close to being able to start it up for the first time! Need to fill up with fluids. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v7.../WRBday45c.jpg After putting in so many OEM parts or OEM upgraded parts, I went from all stock to modded with THIS! :alonehappy: http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v7.../WRBday45d.jpg |
