^ that looks amazing, really nice work. |
That's fucking nuts for a rattle can job. |
Looks good from far! Nice job, although I fear for your sundeck. |
Thanks guys, haha don't worry I laid down some plastic sheets during spray. Nothing got on the deck, any of the furniture, glass, doors, building etc. I'm pretty good with rattle cans. It was definitely tight though. |
^watch out for your neighbours haha nice job |
CEL from one of my cats :( US$1841 for 1 new Porsche 996 OE cat or US$550 for an aftermarket one :heckno: X-pipe from Maxspeed for US$599. In she went yesterday. Total PITA, 3 hour job! Put in O2 sensor spacers so no CEL The PSE sounded pretty good before but NOW.......:fullofwin: Next up is a tune |
Finished :) The lip kit is finally complete! Now time to get my buddy club p1 wheels finished up and finally toss them on along with some lowering springs. http://i1282.photobucket.com/albums/...psexnm6cdj.jpg |
LED reverse bulbs. pure white. looks amazing. http://i.imgur.com/w41po0R.jpg http://i.imgur.com/P29P418.jpg |
yeah def failed. |
1 Attachment(s) Pretty sure chevron used my L24 for their commercials in the 1990's. Clearly u haven't been using Techron. Pretty nasty and holy shit was this tar like substance ever hard to get off. Lapped the valves as I'm getting ready to slap this head on my motor. |
Driver side tail light bulb out light came on today, stopped at Canadian tire on the way home to swap out the bulb |
It was last month, but Speed Syndicate installed my Tanabe lowering springs for my IS350 Handles 100x better, looks better. Would like to dump more $$ for sway bars, but can't for now |
got an early birthday present from gf, now i need to find a shop that can do this https://scontent.cdninstagram.com/t5...MzU3NA%3D%3D.2 Also ended up swapping my hid bulbs in fogs from 3000k to 6000k however it looks like I'm going to need to retrofit some projectors. 3000k wasn't blinding at night but 6000k is absolutely atrocious. https://scontent.cdninstagram.com/t5...Mzg4Nw%3D%3D.2 |
1 Attachment(s) Good to have a spare motor in reserve....off to Force Fed! |
I still still still miss my TL-S with the dipped emblems...So i dipped the RDX emblems: http://i.imgur.com/yDXN9ld.jpg http://i.imgur.com/KsdBH6a.jpg |
Found old header online... http://i384.photobucket.com/albums/o...ds/image_6.jpg Attempted to make a y pipe connector for the 2" secondary pipes into my 2.5" exhaust. I used a zip wheel and bench grinder. Time consuming. http://i384.photobucket.com/albums/o...ds/image_7.jpg First time using a mig. Tip of the day, make sure you have no gaps! Ugly, but a grinder took off most of the really ugly stuff. http://i384.photobucket.com/albums/o...ds/image_8.jpg Looks good on there! Now to be covered up by the intake. http://i384.photobucket.com/albums/o...ds/image_9.jpg Was fun, literally took me an entire day for what a professional could do in a couple hours. Ah well. |
Installed my birthday present hella late, but love it. Passwordjdm carbon fiber cooling plate, wrapped my strut bar gloss black, carbon wrap on my engine cover (which is peeling qq). Fitment on the pwjdm piece sucks, but it's surprisingly flexible and strong for a piece thats like 4mm thick https://scontent-sea1-1.xx.fbcdn.net...20448293_o.jpg |
a bit early...but getting the winter wheels dipped black with glossifier. I'll be going with a black and white theme for the winter. dipped emblems, dipped acura beak and dipped wheels - on white diamond pearl http://i.imgur.com/HoYpbLa.jpg dipped plenum beak http://i.imgur.com/BDcO3ep.jpg |
Those dipped wheels look good! |
First thing was to get rid of my yellowing headlights on my DD Acura. No before or after shots, mainly because I didn't think about it. I probably could have gone a little deeper in my driver's side headlight and it's not perfectly clear, but it's still miles better than what it was before. No more diffused light output, which is nice. http://i23.photobucket.com/albums/b3...pshmvgwkrh.jpg Next up, the Saab. In keeping with the theme of seeing how cheaply I can repair it, I spent the better part of a year looking for parts and avoiding buying new. Finally found a throttle cable (considering new ones were backordered for many months anyway, I didn't have much of a choice to search for a used one) and red top DIC. Yes, I was using zipties to hold the cable in place. Don't judge me. :p http://i23.photobucket.com/albums/b3...ps8w7rwtqp.jpg There's the reason for needing a new cable. http://i23.photobucket.com/albums/b3...psy17e5qgl.jpg All better! http://i23.photobucket.com/albums/b3...psfqqx1jp6.jpg Next up, the Cassette. Got it shipped from one of the Southern States off of Ebay. Figured for $100 shipped, I couldn't go wrong. New ones run for $500 plus shipping and aftermarket ones are well known for dying very quickly. This one looked a little rough on the surface, but the boots checked out and I didn't see any visual damage to anything. http://i23.photobucket.com/albums/b3...ps8y0m8rcb.jpg The car was running a black top T7 DIC. Even though they're technically compatible, it's not recommended for more than diagnosing certain things or driving down the block and back. This one, however, seemed to be causing issues with the car. http://i23.photobucket.com/albums/b3...ps2bisksux.jpg Speaking of issues, this may have been part of the problem... Obviously there was some heat soak happening here. http://i23.photobucket.com/albums/b3...pszstu1dlw.jpg A quick trip to Lordco to grab some dielectric grease for the plugs and new bolts and washers to replace the old, rusted ones... http://i23.photobucket.com/albums/b3...psyaekewy8.jpg And in she goes. Kinda nice to see a splash of colour in the engine bay, especially when it actually belongs there from the factory. http://i23.photobucket.com/albums/b3...psoai6i89e.jpg After giving her a bath, I discovered some sort of electrical problem. Haven't had the time to figure out if it's battery or alternator related. http://i23.photobucket.com/albums/b3...psamabrtzt.jpg Next up, replacing the central lock module and putting in new fog lights. All used, of course. :p |
blew one of my stock speakers :( oh well, just an excuse to upgrade :) |
Pulled off the 20" wheels from the 335i today, put it back to stock with a set of staggered style 162's. Gonna need some spacers to sort out the stance and maybe some lowering springs to drop it a bit. Went from this: To this: |
tinted the fogs on my LS, now waiting for my tires and spacers to come in so i can finally put some VIP wheels on, I keep seeing my clone at MTU by the airport lol, gotta do something different https://scontent.fsnc1-2.fna.fbcdn.n...33&oe=58516634 |
Today I dropped the fuel tank just to replace the fuel pump. Stupid g2 integra design; it was easy to drop but I had a terrible time lifting it back up. Also I did timing belt, water pump, oil pan gasket, and valve cover gasket. |
